OOkay, so in my psychology class today we were having "Sleep Lab." essentially, fall asleep and see what happens. I decided this would be a fantastic opportunity to try WILD.
To start I have vivid hypnagogicness, and eventually end up in a very VERY muddy dream-like situation, the likes of which I have not had, but I was completely conscious. In it I started standing in my empty Psych room, and I decided to check my phone to see if I was dreaming. I looked and the screen instead of the normal colors and clock read "try something else." I decided this was good enough and I walked out of the room. Keep in mind this is very murky. I started to go down the hall to get to the vending machines, I am not sure why, but i decided the hall was too long so i just warped myself to the end of it. I get to the machines and they start to fade away. I realize this is not what i want to happen, so to stay focused I ran up the stairs into a room where I knew someone I didn't like was and I punched her in the face. I couldn't REALLY feel it, but it was close.
Everyone in the room disappears, so I decide to be somewhere else, and I warp to my girlfriend's house. Keep in mind that this is still very faint. I can kind of see hypnogogic blurriness at the edge of my vision. I try summonign one of my friends. He comes walking out the front door, and then my psychology teacher starts to talk and wake everyone up and the "dream" faded away and I woke up.
So here is my question. the whole time I was consciously trying to stay "dreaming." All of the manipulation was very easy, and the whoole time I just had this feeling where I was unsure if I was dreaming or not. It could be that I was very tired, but if you are having a true lucid dream, and are fully conscious, do you ever doubt it, or do you have some knowledge/feeling that this is DEFINATELY a dream?
