Last night I had my two first real lucid experiences. I got up at 5 in the morning, stayed up for half an hour and then went back to bed. I was actually trying to WILD, but somehere in the relaxation phase I think I may have been relaxing just a tad too much because apparantly, I drifted off to sleep.

Anyway, in my dream, I remember leighing down on a bed (not my own) and falling asleep. (Within the dream). I then had this other dream of walking in my home town and suddenly doing a reality check (first time I've ever done that in a dream) and finding that I could in fact breathe through my nose. I think I may have gotten overexcited, because the next thing I know, I'm awake. But the weird thing is, it's an FA, and I wake up exactly the same place I went to sleep in the previous dream. (The people there are different though). I go to the bathroom, look in the mirror (seeing nothing but myself) and for some reason do a reality check. (Sheer habit, I presume ) This is where I become lucid for the second time. I remember thinking to myself that I should relax, just explore the dream. Then, after maybe 15 lucid seconds, I lose lucidity and I can't remember anymore of the dream.

However, when I woke up it just felt like I had had a dream about being lucid, even though I'm pretty sure I really was lucid. But somehow I remember it happening just as I would any other dream. Is this normal? Or have I not been completely lucid?

Urgh, this turned out a bit lengthy, sorry.

Cheers
