My advice, contact her. Maybe mail her, something discrete to not get her in trouble with her husband. If everything is fine, perfect! I think itīll help you getting peace and maybe itīs a step in the right direction of "finishing" your business. Just my advice. You two were close at one point and in my opinion itīs perfectly fine and normal to worry about somebody who played such a big role in your life..
Hope that helped!
What you say worries me more, the reason why is because I have had precognitive dreams and those are in my family history, my great grandmother used to have those a lot... besides been able to speak to the dead. I really dont want to contact her, not for the fear of getting her in trouble but for the fear of remembering on both ends, as they say "Where there was fire, ashes remain" and eventhough sometimes I think she might come back, I dont want to force that comming back
My psychologist said the same, closure...
