strange dream recall and, am i on the right path to a WILD?

the WILD first since it came first. well i was set on waking up after each dream period and remembering my dreams clearly, but since i wasn't falling asleep i decided to try a WILD. I had sorta forgotten what to do so i sat there, watching the light flashes in my eyes, saying in my head "i'm going to have a lucid dream, and i'm going to remember it." well after a while my toes got this strange cold sensation, then my right hand started going numb, then up to my elbow was numb, then my whole right arm. at this point my toes started having a burning sensation, and my left hand was numb. i felt the vibrations but i must have focused on them accidentily cause they soon after stopped. after that i tried getting them back but could only shortly get them in my legs. well i waited awhile and nothing happened after that, no lights or vibrations, just random numb body parts. so i moved around in my bed.

was this on the right path to getting there, and i just need more practice??

the strange dream recall: so after the WILD didn't work, i fell asleep. i woke up in the morning to find an empty dream journal (i guess i didn't wake up) and no memory of any dreams... i was a little angry. then i just focused on trying to remember, i kind of pretended to penentrate my memory to where they are, and suddenly all the dreams i had came back to me in one quick instant. so i wrote them all down as quickly as possible. i found this a little strange but amazing still.

one last thing, in one of my dreams (although i remembered them all, i didn't remember the order) i was in school and i forgot the combination to my locker, then i remembered i had written the combination in my notebook (conveniently placed in my locker, but i somehow got them...) i looked inside, i saw math problems, english assignments, drawings and my combination. the wierd thing is, i remember having a dream prior to this where i was going to school for the first day (a first day with a lot of work...) and i remember taking these notes, doing these assignments and drawing these pictures in that dream, so the data kinda transfered to this dream like a continuance... this was very weird to me.

well any comments on anything would be cool :D thanks for your opinions and help

I think that you were on the right path to WILD especially if you felt any sort of vibrations. Perhaps once you felt them you sort of became a bit excited and too conscious and therefore snapped out of the WILDing experience. This method just takes alot of practice to get right. You will learn how to stay relaxed and not get excited when one of the stages of WILD occurs but it may take some time to get it right. ;)

As to your strange recall that is very odd b/c usually if I have forgotten a dream I have forgetten it for good! Maybe since you didn't write anything down in the night your mind made a point to make a little temporary mental storage of them or something until you could write them down. haha...really I don't know :)

Whoa! That's weird! I can't recall dreams like that. I might try it though. :P As for the WILD....Ive never attempted it before...:/....I might try once I seriously grasp LD's.

sometimes i wake up and have no recall. so i lie down and focus and suddonly remember a few dreams. it happens, kid of anoying
