Do the best you can and never stop
I remember my first lucid nightmare. In waking life I have higher morals than most people, and I didn't think this would affect my dreams. I did something I'm not going to talk about, and suddenly everyone disappeared, and it became night. Then I saw a person down a corridor, and tried to get to him but he disappeared too. Then a door opened and Slenderman walked out (I'm terrified of him). I woke myself up and decided never to do anything bad in dreams again. It's odd, my subconscious seems to be a kind of law enforcer in my dreams. I once punched someone, and the dream became really annoying, not scary, but not a nice place to be. I got fed up and woke myself up eventually. |

Lucid goals:
Meet my Dream Guide [], Jump off a cliff and survive [], Climb a building [X], Perform an air assassination [], Fly [X], Eat [X].
ACaddict, I don't think it was your subconscious that changed the dream but it was yourself. Like when you're in a scary situation in a lucid dream you just can "spread love" and it will turn into something pleasurable, so maybe because of your negative feelings the dreams became scary or annoying. Just a theory ofc. |

Thanks for your opinion Oceandrop, you're probably right. I just jumped to the conclusion that it was my subconscious and not me because I didn't feel bad about it at the time. It's just a dream, it doesn't matter I thought at the time. |

Oh, I understand the urge to wake up. But next time try to tell them that you love them and watch them change into cute kittens. |
