Sounds to me like somebody is a great fiction writer. |

very interesting man, i also had run ins with the hooded mofo's known as shadow beings, but a big monster? sorry but i paid very good attention to your story, and in the story you had no visual at all of the creature, it was invisible correct?, i think the people adding in details are trolling a bit, or letting there imagination getting out of control a tad lol... im not mocking you bro, i too had a run in with a invisible creature! but i actually killed the thing, just how many could thefre be? how many types? im purely interested in what raped you....lol |

While I still have some doubts about this dream' s credibility, I know some people who had the same kind of dream and also something like that using OBEs ... now is it just your imagination, just a recurring nightmare, is it some really advanced lucid dreamer, who could get in other people' s dream ? |

Well, now I'm embarassed. I read this awhile ago, and got all excited about the last bit of it with the invisible entity because I've had dreams on the occasion where I've been around similar circumstances. Of course I assumed a lot of this had to be either exaggerations or missinterpretation, but I guess it would make a ton more sense that it's all fake. The biggest problem(s) I had with it, is just... four years. Think about how long four years lasts. Then think about how random dreams are, there would have to be... some very radical mental mechanisms that wouldn't allow anything else to happen in these dreams that humans have never been documented in having. Sure, autosuggestive thought does bring extreme dream themes back in your current dream. But not like that. Then, this guy starts talking about how his new powers are fire. And to think of dreaming as this realm where you battle your way through the villians, earn points badass points and become super fighter level 9000 until you reach the ulti-boss shows a clearly tainted view of what dreaming is. It shows a young creative, half educated story plot. You don't get more 'powerful'. We don't have individual superpowers. And I did notice a long time ago that this was the only post that the poster ever had. It doesn't make sense that someone with unhuman dreaming capability wouldn't be interested in anything else on this website. I think we can all just chalk this up to a "Cool story bro." |

We may guess that in dreams life, matter, and vitality, as the earth knows such things, are not necessarily constant; and that time and space do not exist as our waking selves comprehend them. Sometimes I believe that this less material life is our truer life, and that our vain presence on the terraqueous globe is itself the secondary or merely virtual phenomenon." H.P. Lovecraft
Assuming the OP's story is true, and for those who only read the thread in wonder or skepticism, and for those who are beset by nightmares and horrific and recurring "monsters" -- watch this video on what to do to avoid increasing anxiety, panic and warfare in your lucid dreams: |

Speaking of sharing dreams with other people- Back in the day, me and my sister have had similar dreams on many accounts. I attribute this to the fact that our rooms are right next to each other, and our brain waves may be affected by a similar current. |
