      Was this a lucid?

Okay, so i've just had the most bizarre lucid dream (or not) i've ever experienced. That doesn't say much, of course, as i've only had one before.

Anyway, I was fooling around on my computer when I found a program that induced lucid dreams, so I downloaded it (somehow without becoming lucid). When I used it, I immediately had some sort of a false awakening.

I was in a room and my dream self from the previous dream knew that I was dreaming (you see, the dream I had entered was the dream of my previous dream self), so he started doing random things like create vegetarian tigers. After a while of the nonsense, I woke up.

I'm confused as to if that was a lucid dream. I didn't have any control of it, and it might have been my previous dream self that realized it was a dream and... ah, i'm confused.

A lucid dream is a dream in which you are aware that you are dreaming. However, it looks to me that you had a dream of having a lucid dream. Yes, its possible and can get annoying at times. Hope this helps!

I have had dreams similar to this one, I don't think it would quite be classified as a lucid dream.. Mainly because you weren't "aware that you (in your body IRL)" was dreaming, you saw a DC of yourself if I am correct and thought that he was lucid. So I'd probably put it down as either a Semi-lucid dream.. Or a non-lucid about having lucid dreams. I've had dreams where I've told people that I was dreaming, but I really wasn't conscious that I was lol. It was fail.
But these dreams usually mean there are lucids ahead!
(saw that guys avatar, though I really do mean it)
