Foolofjoy's first WILD!
Last night I went to bed at 2am, woke up at about 9am, read about WILD in the tutorial, ate some brekky, drank some juice, took a vitamin, put in ear plugs, put on sleep mask and lay down.
I observed my breath and relaxed.
At first, there was just darkness and the super-slight everpresent ringing I have in my ears.
Then thoughts would arise for what seemed like a long time. I think that the sounds came after the thoughts, and then the thoughts started forming into images, then there began an alternation between the dark, the images, and the sounds.
The gaps between images keept getting shorter and shorter (is this the stabilization phase?) until I found myself in a room fully aware I was dreaming. It was extremely confusing and blurry going through the WILD process. My perception of time was so strange, but I (loosely) maintained awareness between the time of lying down and the moment I (stabilized) and was "solid" in that room. Does this sound like a WILD?
It was so much better than having to figure out I was dreaming by reality checks :!:
This is very exciting.
Thank you for the tutorial Seeker.

Ok, i am new to the concept of LDs, what are WILDs?

it is waking induced lucid dreaming... basically where you go from a waking state directly into a lucid dream without the REM cycle and such.
