Strange lucid dream
I've recently just got back into lucid dreaming and the other day i remember reading a thread where was someone talking about a dream within a dream.
Well the strangest thing happened..
It was almost like i was dreaming about having a lucid dream, but it was like i wasnt fully lucid, its very hard to exlpain.
I didnt actually see myself in the dream sleeping. But i some how just had the idea that i was in a having a lucid dream within a dream. I know that inception isn't possible but i remember someone saying in the thread i was talking about, that maybe you could have the idea that you're dreaming within a dream, maybe this triggered this?
It was definitely strange and hard to describe. It didnt feel real, it was quite unclear and i think im missing bits of it.
Well anyway i was with someone else and we just started flying in the street and then i remember facing this person and we were just hovering at this point, probably about 4ft from the ground. I fell to the ground but i landed on my feet but i couldn't fly or levitate anymore, so i started to rub my hands because it felt like it was losing the dream. The weird thing was that i could see my hands very clearly but my surroundings were blurry but i honestly couldn't believe how clear my hands were. I also tried to put glasses on to help me see better lol.
Then i cant remember what happened, i think i moved to another dream, a non-lucid one.
I have a quick question.
The night before i was drinking quite heavily, does this affect your lucid dreams?
Thanks for reading :)

Did you see Inception (the movie) last night? That movie could trigger an idea in your mind.

They were right when they said it's impossible to dream within a dream. You're really in the same dream, but the dream scene skipped to what you perceive as the second dream. I don't think this bit of knowledge really makes much of a difference though. I've had a few dreams like this where I would fall asleep in the dream and become lucid from the new dream.
I'm not really sure how alcohol affects your dream experiences. I suppose it could make them stranger. I think I read that alcohol suppresses dream recall though.

Ah i see, that maybe explains why im missing some bits lol

If you were thinking about it with persistence it may become a mantra, and it may induce a MILD :)
