      My first lucid.... I think?

Hey, first I would like to introduce myself. I'm new to lucid dreaming, OBE, astral projection, sleep paralysis, and all of that stuff. I've been checking into all of this stuff for about 4 days now and I think I just had my first lucid dream.

So, I just started my dream journal (not the one on this site, a private dream journal) 2 days ago and have 2 dreams in it. I have a few dream signs to help me realize I'm dreaming and have wrote the word "awake" on my hand and look at it every hour or so.

Just last night I had a dream about some zombie apocalypse (idk I dream about random shit), then I woke up after the dream, I formed a habit of waking up after my dreams, and went back to sleep shortly after. The time I went back to sleep was at around 11:30.

Once I fell asleep I have a dream of myself waking up in my own bed, no weird things going on. Not even different color sheets or anything. So in my dream when I woke up I looked at where the writing is on my hand, has I usually do once I wake up. The thing is, where I wrote "awake" it was some like scribbled circle with some paragraph written next to it.

I think to myself, still in the dream, I'm having a lucid dream, but it seems the very split second I say that I fall back into a normal sleep. Once I realized I was having a lucid dream, I didn't even get excited, in fact, I was still in my bed (in the dream) when the lucid dream ended.

My question to an experienced lucid dreamer, is did I have a lucid dream? Or did I just dream that I had a lucid dream.

I would like to also add that the same night I listened to some sound waves (I-doses) to try and induce astral projection. And all this did was numb my toes and fingers so I guess this work. However, did it help to induce my LD?

Also, what exactly is wake-back-to-bed? Is this what I just experienced?

      Thanks for reading and responding

WBTB is when you wake up after a REM cycle for a while and then go back to bed. It's suppose to help. And if you've trained yourself to awake after a dream when you do wake up DO NOT MOVE! Imagine yourself spinning into the dream you were just in. It's called a DEILD (dream exited induced lucid dream). Happy dreaming
