Thread: Most Realistic...but not a good one

I just woke up from the most realistic lucid dream I've ever experienced. I've only had 4, so that isnt saying much....but it was cool!

I kind of used MILD. I just told myself "I will realize I'm dreaming" a few times before falling asleep. It came the way mine always do, I just thought about it maybe being a dream. For a while, I couldnt see much, but yelling "Increase Lucidity Now!" helped out a lot.

One cool thing was looking at a wall of pictures of my friends, and every time I looked back, the expressions on their faces changed. One scary thing was opening the door and trying to have it be a certain boy, and it ended up being a chinese lady...?

I had one false awakening where I actually wrote about my lucid dream in my dream journal. I really wanted to wake up because the dream had kind of scared me, so I finaly was able to.

Probably a pointless post...just wanted to share the experience!

O_O that would have weirded me out in a big way! Pictures are strange things anyway.

It is amazing how your mind grabs you and spins you around in cirles like that. I think the best analogy I have heard of this is that the mind is like a gyroscope. When you attempt to force it in one direction, it will resist and then shift off to a different direction.

NO, NEVER! You have given us a great idea, I may even use it for the lucid task one month. I'm going to find some pictures to play with some night when I am lucid. I can imagine a whole wall like on Harry Potter where they change and talk to you. Should be interesting, but spooky!

How cool is that.. or how scarey is that depending on their expressions!

yeah I guess it can get a little freaky when you conscious mind is looking at the works of your subconscious. But is it really scary or is it that we make it that way because we are not used to that in the waking world. I've pondered on this for years during my Lucid experience then I finally excepted the realization that I cannot simply understand the true workings of what my subconscious mind is trying to display. Always keep this in the forefront of your mind during Lucid dreams "Im in control over this scenerio and nothing can change that" Be careful Also strong emotions like Fear can take away your Lucidity. So try to keep your ducks in a row..
