Higher being? I got a call!

Hi everyone!
I'm sorry in advance for the wall of text, please take 5 minutes to read it.

I'm new to this forum, but have been into LD and OBEs for a while now. I often experience Sleep paralysis spontaneously, and am learning to use it to create my own Lucid Dreams. Last night, for example, I succeeded in attaining lucidity and staying lucid for a good 5-6 consecutive dreams, after I had woken up but not moved. This sent me into sleep paralysis, and I used techniques I've learned to enter a dream from there.

Anyway, so last night was my longest and most lucid dream sequence yet. I was lucid and went from dreamscape to dreamscape (I'm not really good at controlling my dreams yet). Anyway, one dreamscape was a false awakening, of sorts. I went into Sleep Paraslysis, and visualized myself coming out of my body. I knew I was dreaming, but I wanted to be sure.

I Got up out of my bed and walked into the hallway, looking out of the window. I wanted to fly, but before I'd go and kill myself, I wanted to know for sure if I was dreaming. I flicked a light switch. Nothing happened. Flicked it again, and the light turned on and off! Alas, this did not give me any confirmation. I thought that checking my BlackBerry for the time might show me that I was dreaming. So, I headed back into my room.

Right as I entered my room again to check my BlackBerry, it rang. I picked it up, and the only thing the caller ID said, was "One" calling.My BlackBerry and its visual interface looked just as it should when its being called, with the exception of the caller ID sayin "One". I answered it and immediately, I felt an overwhelming presence.

I started listening, and to my great disappointment, I remember only a fraction of what the voice said. It started with something along the lines "I am your higher power, father figure, or supreme being". The rest of the words are blurry, but I recall them as instructions and rules being told to me. While this was happening, my dream started collapsing and behaving wildly. Dreamscapes changed within seconds of each other, and the phone connection started breaking up.

Then, my dream vanished and I re-awoke in Sleep Paralysis, and continued my exploration.

When I woke up eventually and remembered the whole thing, it gave me chills. Each time I think of that call, I get a weird feeling in my chest, and it even brought a little tear to my eye. I'm not sure if what I experienced was benevolent or malevolent, but I felt submissive yet safe.

So, after having experienced this, I wondered, is there anyone else who has experienced something like this? I would love to hear other such stories!

Never experienced that in a dream, though it does sound fascinating. As for whether it was benevolent or malevolent, I think you would have to remember the content of the message. If it is telling you rules of behavior (you will do this, you cannot do this) I would not trust it. If it is giving suggestions and advice on the other hand, without forcing anything upon you, then I would give it more heed.

Never happend to me but sounds interresting, but i agree you need to now more about the conversation to now what it was or ment.

Well, once in a nightmare, I got a call from someone called "The............" and when i answered i started screaming. It was an old phone with a turn dial. Idk how it had Caller ID :P

EDIT:Also I have been called by God before in my dream it scary but also cool! Things just go wild its kinda like an earthquake...

Never in my dreams but in reality yes, I was in english class and had to write an essay, dont remember what my prompt was but at some point i got on the subject of god, and i was stuck for half an hour trying to think what was the best name to use for him. Then from over my shoulder in a very mono tone someone said "god" and i looked around and no one was looking, it sounded as real as someone talking behind me. could have been a day dream.
