Hi everyone,

I just had the most amazing sequence of lucid dreams. I have comments that relate to DEILD, the thread "DCs are Awesome", "How Real Are Your Lucid Dreams", "What Are Your Lucid Powers", and lots more, so I decided to start my own thread.

Anyway, my first LD started in my old house. I was in the basement, which always scared me. I became lucid, and picked up a golf club to protect myself, and started saying how I would beat up anybody who came my way and stuff like this. I had a false awakening, and in my dream started yelling so loud that I woke up in real life.

I have been on a drought lately, and upon waking in the temporal world, I thought "oh no, is this really what I'm going to do with my first really clear LD in a long time?" i was pretty disappointed.

Luckily, when I went back to sleep, I became lucid again. This time I was outside and the sun was shining. Needless to say the environment was a lot more friendly and conducive to a positive experience. I have been practicing the Sporadic Awareness Technique (SAT) lately, and while formerly my first inclination when I became lucid was to start running, flying, have sex with the closest female DC, or just act completely irrationally, on account of SAT, while awake I have been thinking about how to act when I become lucid. Instead of going crazy, I have been planning on staying calm and taking in my dream surroundings. This is what I did.

First I began rubbing my hands and observing my surroundings in order to stabilize the dream. At first things started to go blurry, but I managed to save the dream. I looked at the sidewalk, and I couldn't believe how real it looked. It had cracks, lines, blemishes, and even gum on it just like a sidewalk in the waking world. I looked at a DC. I had never seen her before. She pulled down her sunglasses and looked at me. DCs were everywhere, I didn't recognize any of them, and they were all so real. Cars were driving by. I could hear the sounds they were making. I even felt the wind blowing. It was incredible.

Later, I was holding a book that I needed to get back on a shelf. I decided to see if I could use some dream powers. I threw the book in the air, and used "the force" to guide it back onto the shelf! It was so cool. Later, as I was walking down the street, I again decided to experiment with my dream powers. A car was driving by, and from a distance I put my hand out to make it stop. Again, I used "the force" and made two cars stop at will!

Later, the dream eventually faded. I found myself awake in bed (not sure if it was a FA, didn't do a reality check), but I just laid still. I felt the familiar waves of SP overcome me, and there I was back in a dream again. I used the DEILD technique several times again, and managed to chain together several LDs.

Also, at one point a dream began to destabilize. I felt like I was going to lose it, but I managed to save that dream by rubbing my hands and focusing on a beer bottle I was holding. I may have even poured beer on myself. Hey it's my dream and I can do want I want!

Anyway, that's the best series of lucids I have had in many months. As I mentioned, I have been using SAT recently in an effort to get my LD consistency back. I suspected that I was on the verge of a big breakthrough, and last night really showed that my suspicions were correct.

Thanks for reading everyone, and thanks to everyone who contributes to this forum so that we all can enjoy our LDs!
