I'll start off by saying that although I'm new to posting, I've read a lot of the forums.

I've had LD's many times before also, when I didn't know what they were called.

Although a failure, heres' my first one from the time I started reading this website. I'm really looking for input and suggestions for what to do when I go lucid, since it happens a lot for me. I'll add to this list with all the others I can remember as soon as I get time:

1). It started as an ordinary dream. I was running across a cities streets - crowded with old buildings, sometime past sundown. All I can remember distinctly is that I was chasing someone(s), and I could hear the tap of their feet just ahead. In the dream I suddenly make a wide leap-jump from the ground to the wide aluminum & brick roof of one of the taller buildings, with a slightly raised, artsy roman temple setup covering it. I then notice that someone, probably the people I was chasing, left a collection of pocket pc devices (high tech cellphones, palm pilots and minicomputers') all around the roof slant, almost like they were growing there - . I pick one up, playing with it, and I remember thinking about it strangely, like it didn't belong on a roof. At that moment I became lucid.

I knew I was lucid, I knew it was a dream and I start getting excited and eagar to try a lot of things as once, thinking about all my new possibilities. It was a bad move, as I notice suddently that the details of the open roman forum structure around me become fuzzy and pale, and then it seems that the remaining color of the world (a mix of reds and greys, from the brick and the concrete) begin to fade to black, and I start to feel my bedcovers. One thing I specifically remember was - just then - I saw who I was chasing, vaguely. It was a group of women, three of them facing me in exact angles, I think.

Frantically I spin around, and as I do the details become clearer once more. It was all I could remember from the guide I had read here, and luckily I was pulled back into the dream. A moment later, my alarm went off, and I woke up. Bah.
