      I find that when you take a break, you get lucids. Don't get too serious and caught up in lucid dream. Yes, try. But don't go crazy over it. The more relaxed and positive you think about it, the easier it will be. If you think you'll get a lucid, really believe it, you'll most likely get one.

      I think that's what happens to the most experienced LD'ers (I am still a beginner, I have a loooong way to go before I can say i'm experienced). They start getting very regular lucids, and get to the stage where they believe, every single night, that they will get a lucid. And so they do, and can relax more. It's like a cycle

      I think you're right. In my case, I've been a lurker of this forum, reading everything that could help me to lucid dreaming for weeks but I felt like there was no improvement. I guess I was wrong, I just needed to relax and not focus so much on LD, and when I did my LD, I even thought to do RCs, like, naturally. I'm happy!

      Kind of the same thing happened some days ago to me as well. Whenever I have a dream, I write up some keywords on my mobile a little after I wake up, then I use the keywords to write down detailed dreams in my DreamJournal program on the computer. Some days ago, I had just written down the keywords on my mobilephone but skipped over using the keywords to write the dreams down on my pc. I decided 2 days ago, I had to focus more on recalling before trying to lucid dream, since my dreams just got less and less vivid, so I wrote down the previous dreams on my pc, and then focused only on recalling, then I had a lucid dream.
