Unhappy Somewhat horrifying LD - I saw me

So, I woke up from one of my 5 hour naps and had one of the most confusing dream related experiences ever. EVER.
It was a somewhat standard LD up to that point. I was running around, happy with my Godlike powers and went to some old-looking house across the street. There I saw an old man, which I ignored and opened a door thinking of, well, getting laid.
And then I saw me. Me, myself, ego, mois, mich etc. Never has anything like this happened to me neither did I want it to. Freaked out as I may have been, I calmed down quickly and sat down on a sofa with me (let's call the other me Bob from now on for clarity's sake). So, thinking that Bob was actually my subconscience or dream guide or something else so I asked Bob a question.

So he told me I'd die by the end of the month from some virus whose name he generously spelled out for me as I froze deeper and deeper in terror. Egg-something.
I phased out thinking of all the things I wanted to do and how small the time frame for them was. I was afraid. And I don't get startled over nothing. So I panicked and I started to yell "What the hell would I want to ask you anyways? I already know I won't be with her!" (yeah...) Bob smiled. I do hope that means I was wrong.
Quickly regaining my composure while my dream started to fall apart I started to rub my hands together furiously and stabilized the dream (relatively). So I asked him "Uh... so, that time dilation stuff. How do I stay in my dream longer?" He simply replied with "You don't." and smiled again.
At that point I had a false awakening when I told what happened to me to my family while eating really good food. Nobody cared.

Ten minutes later I had another LD where I went back to that room, but Bob was nowhere to be found. Then I no longer had any desire to do... well, anything, and woke up.

In conclusion, from Bob's demeanor during our short conversation I concluded that I'm a douche. And that I really, and I mean really don't want to die.

Now how about you wizards tell me wtf just happened there?

You must have a crazy subconscious that doesn't like you, dude. You should make amends.

I don't suppose this counts as a shared dream?

      hello,

and allow me to express my opinion:

I guess some part of you had the FUN to shock yourself. You, deeply inside, know its fun when you get shocked like this, you just take it too seriously, try and see it from the outside. The idea of dead was (well) used to remind you not to waste many time. That doesn't mean you will die... but... If you were to die tomorrow, what would you be missing?

You're sub-c, Bob, guide, whatever.. is a smart dude, he would be missing all the fun if he told you all the correct answers, and You wouldn't learn half of what you'll learn just by looking for the answers, the path... make Bob your ally...

Never said it wasn't fun (albeit in a really strange way). So, how would I go about making an ally out of myself?

If you get the flu within the month, I would seriously recommend that you see a doctor :p

Entering the last day of August. Thought oh what the hell might as well get out of the house for once and went for a walk and it started raining so I got drenched on the way home and I feel somewhat sick. I'm pretty sure I'll make it though. Wish me luck?

Sure, lol. But if we don't hear from you in 2 days, then I'm for sure gonna avoid my "Sub C".. or kill it when I see it.

Seeing as I'm still alive I take it that it was a benevolent kind of threat Bob gave me.

What a cool experience! Now that you are awake and thinking clearly, what questions would you want to ask yourself if you meet again in another dream?

I suppose I'd want to ask myself if there was anything I could teach myself in the area of dream control (especially staying in dreams longer) and if I noticed anything interesting in my life that I haven't remembered or thought about.

Hug him, or absorb him. Maybe kick his ass for lying to you. Ask him for a gift.
