So the other day, I was having a perfectly fine, normal LD, when I faded to consciousness for unknown reasons. Might have been cause I had to pee, I dunno. Anyways, I opened my eyes, checked my cell phone for the time, decided I could go back to sleep, and closed my eyes again. Interesting thing:
The big green U-shaped blob I see in my eyes when I close them (retina burn?)
contained the entirety of the lucid dream I was having before I woke up. It was like all the characters and scenes were just sitting there waiting for me to jump back into them. It didn't take long for me to zoom in on part of the blob and gain dream stability. My dream then progressed as any other dream would, even though I completely woke up and sat up in my bed.
Later that day I tried to WILD using the colors that appear when I close my eyes. I didn't go into like... full dreaming, but I was able to achieve a very high level of daydreaming. That night, I tried the same thing, and after a little tossing and turning in bed, I entered into a lucid dream rather quickly.
It may require some more experimentation to conclude whether this is an effective method for WILDing, but if people could try it and post their results, it would be greatly helpful.
