Well, this morning I had what I believe to be my first DILD. I'm not sure if I was day dreaming the whole thing though.

I started out laying on the futon in our family room, watching tv. (This was most of the dream) But then my cat walked into the room. This cat didn't look at all like my cat, this is what woke me up in my dream. However, I think I woke up completely for a split second and forced myself back into the dream. After that, it was like I was trying to control and imaginary-self.

To see if I could stabilize the dream, I touched the walls. I didn't feel anything at first, but, then I began to imagine how the wall felt. This seemed to make things clearer, but it still felt like I was imagining me moving. I decided to walk upstairs. This made it felt like I was actually beginning to control my body like normal and made it feel less like a dream; but, I lost my concentration and lost the dream.

I would think that it was an actual lucid dream if it weren't for the fact that it felt like I was trying to move an imaginary body. Was this lucid? It was pretty cool, not going to lie; but if it was a lucid dream, it makes me realize how much I'm going to need to practice. lol
