      2nd Lucid Dream - FAILURE!

So i had my second lucid two days ago, and i blew it totally.
It did not feel fully lucid like my first one, I only realized i was dreaming but i did not perform a RC to become fully lucid.

I told myself im dreaming, my eyes were still closed, but i could feel the "blurryness" so i thought of yelling 'increase lucidity!!" at first, i was scared that i would scream in real life lol, so i tried to yell in my 'dream mind' but it did not work, so i tried again to just yell normally and it worked and i could feel how it got clearer.

My eyes were still closed and i kept thinking of things i want to do and what i would first see when i opened my eyes, and then..the dream faded and i was awake.

Its not a failure, your just new. You will get better with more lucid's that you have.

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride

Thanks for the tip, just hope that i can remember it when it happens again, i tend to forget the most simple things to do >_<

Yea your right but it still feels like i could have made something of it instead of just thinking for too long and have the dream fade away :/

      Wow, it happened again today!
At first i had trouble opening my eyes, it felt as if i was half-asleep/half-awake so it might have been SP that kept me from opening my eyes?
Anyways after trying really hard i managed to open my eyes, i was lying in my bed still and the first thing i noticed was that i had a different blanket on me and not the one i went to bed with. I figured something was off here, and when i looked to the other side of the room where another bed is, i saw a small boy sitting there starring at me. I got scared for a moment there but then i knew i was dreaming, i did a nose-pinch RC and i felt lucidity kicking in and i tried to spin and rub my hands to stabilize but it didnt work and the dream faded and i woke up...

During all this i heard my mom talking to my brother and telling him that it was time for school etc. and when i had woken up i thought that was in real life, but i got up and saw that it was only my sister there getting ready for school, my mom was still asleep. I could hear the noise in real-life while still in the dream, really cool xd!

Those false awakenings can be really convincing. It sounds like you are not entirely in the dream, yet. Stay calm and do something to engage with the dream world. Touch things, move around, look at your hands, talk to people, ect.
