Hi all, this is my first post here since trying to lucid dream.
I've been interested in dreams for some time, I've had an obe as a kid and I can wake myself up when I need to, usually from a bad dream.
I've now been trying to control my dreams. I'm on holiday in turkey right now so been doing a bit of napping and sleeping!
I started telling myself to remember my dreams, through out the week this has improved and last night I was telling myself to lucid dream.
I reminder thinking twice throughout the night that I know this is a dream and tried to do something but woke up everytime.
I then had a third felling I was dreaming, and tried to focus on flying. I was sent back to a street where I live, I then tried to run very fast, lost leaping to take off. It only lasted a few seconds but I flew. It's difficult to explain, but my whole body was vibrating with energy and my heart was racing. I fel adrenalin like nothing I have felt before. I remember saying ow wow, and my partner repeating what I said next to me, almost in a joking recognition.
But it was like I was lying in bed awake but also dreaming, so like dreaming I was dream
Ing I was lucid.
Can anyone advise me if this is normal for lucid dreaming? All I can say is for a few seconds, it was the most real thing I have ever done. When I woke up I felt a little out of breath and I had pins and needles in my body.
I'd like to think that was my first lucid dream, as it felt so amazing and I did focus on flying and it happens. But dreaming I'm lucid dreaming? Confused a little.
Any help advise would be welcomed.
