i posted this in the other thread, so just to be sure it gets seen, i'm posting it here, also.
full time in the summer, part time when i am at school in the fall and spring
2. beyond reading over things to check for errors, no. i do have experience working as an editor for a high school publication (that was a while ago)
3. i don't consider myself a writer, but i do write often. I think of myself as articulate enough to get my idea down in words.
4. YES
5. i am working on my own picture book for my illustration major as we speak. so that covers organization (layout/graphic design), illustration (artwork), writing, and binding the book itself. among other things. the book is solely my own project.
6. no, i am working on that.
7. Or do you tend to just set off fire alarms...
both. when i am thinking about projects i tend to have too many ideas at once. when working in groups it is a little overwhelming for teammates sometimes.
8. i can't say i keep current on scientific developments of dreaming. but i keep current with theories and ideas about dreaming, what dreaming means to people, culturally and individually
9. i guess it comes with the business. i am not a graphic design major, but i will be able to help design a solid layout that is both informative and able to keep the reader interested. working on picture books has helped with this. while i would leave most of the design to graphic designers, i can provide GOOD supplementary illustrations. (and hey, everyone loves illustrations, right?) I am really good at critiquing, i know how to make already good designs even better. i have some work here, its not my best.. but you can see it: http://soulsadriftx.carbonmade.com/
10. artwork (design and illustration), writing and specific topics, and book construction/design.
11.
you can be sure that this would be a passionate undertaking for me. i love art, i love dreaming, and i love dreamviews for what it has provided to the dreaming community. i want to give something back to this place.
