I'm glad I got the lucid this night, as it represents progress. Despite this I was not prepared for it. Good thing is, I improvised and got some points!
By the way, this week I'm using the SSILD method.

First time trying prospective memory practice. I did okay, but I (still) don't understand prospective memory very well. My triggers for this day were: 1. Seeing / Thinking about showers 2. Going outside or coming inside 3. Opening my laptop.

I was really busy this day, mainly because of participating in a sporting event. Thus, did worse on reality checks. I must have been really tired because I missed my WBTB, and also no recall.

I made a plan for this day! Here's what I wrote in my dream log: RC, Meditate, Early Bedtime, No Distractions, Mantra, WBTB, SSILD, LD, Recall Goals, Set Intentions, Stabilize, Complete Goals, Record Dream.
It didn't do very well, and got to bed late, so my recall wasn't good. I also basically gave up in the middle of the night. But, this plan has been a good framework for me over the next few days.

Day 7

Today I meditated!!! That was fun. Although, it wasn't really meditation, it was actually a lucid dream related hypnosis video. I'm unsure how it affected me, but it was very calming and got me excited and motivated about lucid dreaming. I still got to bed late, though. I also tried to do my WBTB, but fell asleep while trying to remember the dream I just had. ��

Final Thoughts
- My recall tanked at the end of this week, which I attribute to late bedtimes.
- I still think SSILD works well for me. Almost all of my lucid dreaming related experiences are regained awareness, and SSILD somehow creates a lot more of those and false awakenings. So I'm trying to get really good at catching false awakenings and practicing SSILD every night.
- First attempt at
meditation Guided Hypnosis. The thing is, this guy also makes some meditation stuff, and I feel like the practices are (Even just superficially) connected. Nevertheless, I want to try actual meditation, alone, and see what that's like. - Finally, sorry for the long post, hopefully it's not a problem. Some time I will replace the [[]] blocks with links to DJ entries. Also, week two is going well! Good job, everybody!
