The competition begins onFriday, July 5th, at 8 PM YOUR time (wherever you are).
The competition will end on Friday, July 19th, at 8 PM.

*Teams and leagues, expert and intermediate in particular, have been adjusted to provide a balanced, competitive match between participants. In the case of considerable imbalances due to drop out, lack of participation, etc., the host may adjust teams slightly at the halfway mark to ensure a fair balance. Prior to any team switches, permission will be asked of participants.

Please message me if you notice anything that needs correction.

*Please note that this competition has several additions: prospective memory practice, expansion of themes, points for dream journaling and side quests. The first three provide additional avenues/opportunities for beginner and intermediate to score extra points for daytime practice/recall while the last item is primarily to provide an extra challenge for expert league (although beg/int can certainly go for it!)

Rules:

• Honor system: Be honest and trust others to be honest.

• Lucid dreams must be posted in your dream journal on DV with link posted here to count. If it’s short, you can put it in your post in a spoiler. If you don't want to post it because of sensitive matters or anything like that, then you can PM it to me.

• Dreams must be lucid for Tasks and Goals to score points.

• Don't abuse the point system - No spamming. Spamming means intentionally finding loopholes and using sneaky tactics to get ahead of other members, rather than earning points the normal ways.

POINTS

Daytime Practice & Recall (Beginner and Intermediate only!)


• Meditation(Brief/Medium/Long) - ½ Point/1 Point/2 Points (Only counts once per day)

Brief: Less than 15 minutes.

Medium: 15-30 minutes.

Long: More than 30 minutes.


• Reality Checks (Decent/Good/Excellent) - ½ Point/1 Point/2 Points


Decent: You've performed a few quick checks throughout the day.

Good: You've interrupted the day a few times to question reality for around 30 seconds each time.

Excellent: You've interrupted the day many times to question reality for around a minute each time.

Tip: See Sporadic Awareness Technique (SAT) and/or Reverse Reality Checks (RRC) on dreaviews to start. You will be better served by performing fewer, thoughtful checks compared to more, thoughtless checks. For example, question where you are and what you have been doing. Does the temperature make sense for where you are? Is gravity working as expected? Are any of your top dreamsigns around? This one heavily depends on the honor system, so please report your level of reality checking honestly.

• Prospective Memory
1. Choosing targets each morning
1/4 point may be gained each target chosen in the morning, for a maximum of 4 per day (1 point maximum per day)
2. Recognizing targets & performing reality tests
For each prospective memory target, 0 – 1 point may earned for each by performing a reality check within a few seconds of recognizing the target (4 points maximum)
-If opting to recognize target only on first occurrence, score yourself simply as a 0 or a 1.
-If opting to recognize targets on each occurrence throughout the day, use the rubric below.
Target hit less than ~33% of occurrences : 0 points
Target hit between ~33% - 66% of occurrences: .5 point
Target hit on greater than ~66% of occurrences: 1 point

• Recall/Dream Journaling
- Remember a Non-Lucid Fragment - ½ point
- Remember a Full Non-Lucid Dream - 1 point
- 2 additional points may be earned each day for writing out dreams in detail each day and posting them in your dream journal on dreamviews.

Induction(Beginner and Intermediate only!)

In order for you to get points for an LD, you need to write it in your DJ on DV and post the link here.

If you think more than 2 fragments are from the same dream, count them as 1 Full Dream instead.

If it is your first DILD or WILD ever, add 10 points. If it is your first DEILD ever, add 4 points.

• First DILD of the Night - 10 points
• Subsequent DILDs - 5 points


• First WILD of the Night - 10 points
• Subsequent WILDs - 5 points
Note: DEILD after a non-lucid dream counts as a WILD


• Chain a Lucid Dream - 2 points (Max. 10 points)
Return to a lucid dream after a brief awakening mid-LD. A DEILD chain is over once you are awake long enough to write down the dream.

• Catch a False Awakening - 2 points (Max. 10 points)
Continue or regain lucidity during a false awakening.

• WBTB (success or failure) - 2 points (Only counts once per night)

Dream Control Tasks

IMPORTANT! - Points don't stack for completing a single task that falls in multiple categories (i.e. Normal Dream Control, Personal Goal, etc.). Instead, it counts for the highest-scoring category. If you complete the same task multiple times, then it can count for the additional categories. Note that this rule does not apply to 3-Step Tasks, as those have always been purposely stackable.

Each task can be completed once per dream/chain.
Advanced versions of tasks earn points instead of basic versions, not in addition.


Basic Tasks


• Reality Check / Stabilization - 1 point


• Interact with a Dream Character - 2 points


• Practice a Waking Life Hobby (Beginner and Intermediate Only) - 5 points


• Ask for Advice (Beginner and Intermediate Only) - 5 points (eg. ask a DC or electronic device)


• Eat/Drink Something - 5 points


• Use an Electronic Device - 5 points (doesn't have to work, just try)


• Use an Ordinary Object to Perform Dream Control - 5 points (eg. car, phone, watch, glasses, pen)


• Fly - 5 points


• Telekinesis - 5 points


• Super Strength - 5 points


• Super Speed - 5 points


• Gain Invulnerability - 5 points (must test to prove, eg. jump off a cliff)


• Basic Summoning - 5 points (eg. summoning from pocket / making someone appear from behind you / around the corner.)
+5 points if it is a fictional character from a book/movie/TV show/anime or Dream Guide


• Basic Unsummoning/Banishing - 5 points (eg. look away and back to make something/someone disappear)


• Object/DC Changing - 5 points (change object/DC into something different, or change its size/shape.)
+5 points if it is a fictional character from a book/movie/TV show/anime or Dream Guide


• Push your hand through a solid object - 5 points (note: 'pushing finger through hand' RC does not count)


• Partial Transformation - 5 points


• Invisibility - 5 points (must test to prove, eg. look at your body or sneak past someone undetected)


• Change Gravity - 5 points (doesn't have to be for everything, at least one object)


• DC Manipulation / Mind Control - 5 points


• Unspecified Dream Control (any powers not listed here) - 7.5 points


Advanced Tasks


• Teleport - 10 points


• Element Manipulation - 10 points


• Fully Phase through Big Solid Object - 10 points (eg. the wall, keep your eyes open)


• Advanced Flying - 10 points (flying at high speed / into space)


• Advanced Summoning - 10 points (make something/someone appear right in your direct view / summon something larger than human-size)
+5 points if it is a fictional character from a book/movie/TV show/anime or a Dream Guide


• Advanced Unsummoning/Banishing - 10 points (make something/someone disappear right in your direct view / unsummon something larger than human-size)

• Change Night to Day / Day to Night - 10 points


• Mass Telekinesis - 10 points (use telekinesis on 5+ objects at the same time, or one enormous object - something that can't be lifted in waking life)


• Advanced Object/DC Changing - 10 points (change enormous object/DC into different object/DC, or many objects/DCs at the same time)


• Time Control - 10 points (speeding up/slowing down/stopping time intentionally)


• Full Transformation - 10 points

Dream Theme


If your dream (lucid or non-lucid) matches the theme, you earn an additional 3 points. Points for theme can only be claimed once per night. The theme is open to interpretation (just keep in mind the honor system).

Strongholds & Weapons - 3 points:
Either of the two themes may be chosen on any given night.
*Beginner and Intermediate:
3 points may be earned for the first theme each night, while 2 points may be earned for the second.
Additionally, one additional point may be earned for a third theme: Magic

[For strongholds, think human castles, dwarven mines, orcish strongholds, undead necropolises, etc. ; Weapons must be related to related to battle (not a kitchen knife etc.)]

Persistent Lucid Elements

Points only start counting after the second occurrence. Occurrences before the competition also count, and they can have happened in non-lucids).
Points for each persistent lucid element can only be claimed once per night.
Elements cannot be something that exist in real life as they are (with the exception locations pertaining directly to the theme). A few examples of elements the wouldn't count are: your family/your phone/your home etc.


Place and Realm do not stack.
The difference between a persistent Realm and persistent Place as defined here is that Realms are created by the dreamer intentionally (IE a dream palace) and then visited in separate dreams while a Place is somewhere you've chosen to visit in separate dreams.


• Meet a Persistent Dream Character - 5 Points


• Catch a Persistent Dream Element/Item - 5 Points (eg. a special gadget or a thing like that)


• Visit a Persistent Place - 10 Points


• Visit a Persistent Realm - 15 Points

Challenge Tasks

Points for the challenge can only be claimed once per competition.

Challenge - Alliance: Sit on a king’s throne and put on a crown.

Challenge - Horde: Raise an undead figure in a Necropolis (or burial ground).

Beginner: 40 Points

Intermediate: 30 Points

Expert: 10 Points

Three-Step Tasks

Choose 3 different Dream Control Tasks from the Basic and Advanced Dream Control tasks above, excluding RC/Stabilization. DV Extra Tasks, Challenge Tasks, and Team/Enemy tasks can not be declared for the Three-Step tasks.

Beginner: Pick any of the Basic or Advanced Dream Control Tasks

Intermediate: At least 1 of the 3 must be Advanced Dream Control Tasks

Expert: All 3 must be Advanced Dream Control Tasks

Tasks must be completed in order.
Multiple tasks can be completed in one dream, but they can also be completed in separate dreams.
You may change tasks at any time, even if you are on task 2 or 3, as long as your updated task choices are posted before the night you complete them.
If you choose to include an Unspecified Dream Control task, describe your task here in advance.
In addition to receiving points for the Dream Control task, you will also receive bonus points:

• Complete first chosen task - 5 points

• Complete second chosen task - 10 points

• Complete third chosen task - 15 points

If you complete all 3 tasks during the first week, you may pick 3 more tasks to complete in Week 2. The same difficulty requirements from above apply.

Team Tasks

Asterisks* indicate that points can only be claimed for these tasks once during the competition.

• Meet a teammate - 7 points (once per dream/chain)
Each additional teammate in the same dream/chain - 3 points


• Have your teammate complete a lucid task excluding RC/Stabilization(in-dream)* - 10 points


• Have a teammate teach you something* - 10 points


• Have a teammate take you into their dream(figuratively)* - 15 points

Rival Tasks

Note: "Rival" refers to a member of the competition on a different team than you.
Asterisks* indicate that points can only be claimed for these tasks once during the competition.
Note that dream characters only count as "Rivals" if they are identified as such within the dream (IE: Rival task points are not awarded to Team Human for any titan encounter unless they are identified as a participant from Team Titan in the competition).

• Meet a Rival - 5 points (once per dream/chain)
Each additional rival in the same dream/chain - 3 points

• Fight a Rival - 10 points

• Fight one or more rivals with your teammate(s)* - 20 points

• Convert your rival to an ally* - 10 points (rival must start out opposed)

• Convert multiple rivals to allies in the same dream/chain* - 20 points (rivals must start out opposed)


Beginner and intermediate only:

• Fight an expert rival* - 30 points

Expert only:

• Fight the whole rival team simultaneously* - 30 points

Personal Goals

Choose your own goals to complete in a lucid dream.
Unlimited additional goals can be selected, but only ONE per night can be claimed for points.
Each goal can only be scored once per competition.
Goals must be different from other tasks in the competition, eg. "telekinesis" is not acceptable. More specific/unique versions may be okay, eg. "use telekinesis on a DC" - ask if you're not sure whether it's too similar to another task.
Goals must require some degree of thought, not just things you might accidentally do in a dream anyway.
You can find some ideas in the Lucid Dares thread under "Anyone Dares".
Post your intended goals in this thread (wrap in spoilers if the list is long). Goals will only be awarded points if they are posted in advance.

• Complete a NEW Personal Goal - 15 points (something that you have never done before in a lucid dream.)

• Complete an OLD Personal Goal - 10 points (something that you have already done in any previous lucid dream, including outside of the competition.)

Dream Journal Points

Points will be awarded at the end of the competition for posting comments in other contestants' Dream Journals. Only DJ entries containing dreams from the competition are included.
Only one comment per DJ entry will earn points (a conversation on the same entry will still count as one.)
Add these to your posts as you go. Include how many DJ comments you made each day in your scoring posts, and I will add them to the scoresheet.

• 1 point will be awarded for every 3 DJ comments.

This is just a little kick to get people posting in Dream Journals. I feel a lot better about writing in a DJ knowing that people are going to read and comment on it; I am sure others feel like I do. It isn't worth many points because this is a dreaming competition, but it could add a few bonus points to your final score.
When posting comments in a DJ, it is helpful to "like" the entry so that the member will get a notification on DV. You should also "like" any comments on your DJ when you read/respond to them, so that people know you have seen it.
Make sure you read the dreams so you can make a comment with some substance (more than a quick one-word comment.)

Keep track of how many comments you make, and post that total as part of your final night's post to have them scored.

Drawings

Hand-drawn and AI artwork do not stack.

• Post hand-drawn artwork of your dream! - 2 Points (Only counts once per night)
• Post an AI generated artwork of your dream! - 1 Point (Only counts once per night)

Keep track of the type (hand versus AI) and number of drawings you make, and post that total as part of your final night's post to have them scored.

DV Coins

I've just gotten it on good authority that a bunch of DV Coins have been added the collective unconscious! They are about the size of your palm and they have "DV" on them! You must be lucid when you collect coins to be awarded points, though please tell us anyway if you find one while not lucid because that would be funny for all of us! If a DV coin makes you lucid, AND THEN you collect it, this will count for points!

• Collect a DV Coin! - 2 Points (Only counts once per night)

Keep track of how many DV coins your collect, and post that total as part of your final night's post to have them scored.

Side Quests
*Each side quest may only be completed once per competition

1. Weapon Forging - 50 Points: Beginner & Intermediate ; 25 Points: Expert

Epic Weapon
Create a weapon with at least one magical property (must be tested).
*Experts must craft the weapon on a forge.
*Be creative with crafting – degree of flexibility with this

Legendary Weapon 8 Points: Beginner & Intermediate ; 4 Points: Expert
Imbue weapon with two magical properties (must be tested).
Point may be claimed for up to two of these upgrades.
* Be creative with imbuing; think adding runes, gems, spells etc.

Once per competition, an additional 10 points may be claimed if an opponent is defeated with a legendary weapon.

2. Magic Tomes - 30 Points: Beginner & Intermediate ; 15 Points: Expert
Discover a magic tome, containing a least one magic spell.
Spell must be cast in order to verify.
*Does not stack with other dream control

First night results are in! I've been warming up my dream recall for the comp so it's at the best point it's ever been I think.

6.7.24 - I had a really weird night.

Woke up 5.5 hours after going to bed, started WILD and when i had an almost full dream around me i started to feel vibration in my head which spread i to my whole body and my ear started ringing, i got nervous since i have very limited knowledge about astral projection and no experience, also i had to swallow and it slowly stopped after that. Didnt fall back asleep, not even any hypnagogic images. I gave up after 2 hours and got up.

Yesterday:
Dream Journal: I dreamed of exploring a game-like dungeon with a lady. I can't really remember much else because my alarm clock was too loud (usually it isn't).
This doesn't count for points, but I'm glad I went to bed on time and didn't use screens before bed.

MILD - made anki flashcards that I will test myself on twice today.

Intention Setting - I will think about an Alliance character I will create for this comp and try to dream about him in Stormwind City. One thing I remember about WOW is all the flying around the city I had to do.

Was too sleep deprived to be lucid I think. Just fragments.
I went to bed late at 12am, I was getting almost instant hypnagogic imagery, it felt like I was looking in a dark room with shelves and objects on them.
I remember dreaming about looking at a freckle in a weird spot on my shoulder.

I was walking in a city square and thought that this would be the type of dream i would become lucid in and i confirmed to myself that i was dreaming. I walked past some trams and decided to sit on a ledge. I noticed some people were carrying watermelons and dropping them next to me. I asked a young man what the watermelons represented and he said he didn't know. I noticed I was starting to wake up, so I focused on the feeling of the ledge I was sitting on until the dream stabilized. I decided to fly to explore. I flew through a tunnel, trying to see what was on the other end. A lady stopped me and told me about a park I should see and I woke up.

The way I read it is you select a couple of targets (something like a dream sign) each morning and your goal is to be aware of them and RC whenever you encounter them during the day.
So, for example, if one of my dream signs is bathrooms, I may choose bathrooms as a target, gaining 1/4 points, and then during the day whenever I am in a bathroom I should be aware of it and perform a reality check.
If I'm successful I would get 1 more point from it.

My WILD attempt failed again from WBTB. In fact, I woke up way too early and told myself "let's catch the next microawakening instead". Only woke up at 6am again :facepalm:
On the other hand, I don't think I've ever had such good dream recall. I'm getting extremely detailed and vivid memories of my dreams.

One of the dreams was related to magic (accidentally summoned a demon from Jesus' 13th birthday cake, don't ask), so if I read the rules correctly that's a bonus point right?

Yes! Doesn't necessarily need to do a dream sign, but I could see an added benefit.

Night 1, Saturday July 6th 2024.

Ah, I actually find that cute.

Was home checking something online, while doing so become lucid and decide I will be doing something else instead, teleport to a different planet like normal and start looking for… this planet looks very much like my own. In fact, if not for the fact Scan tells me there are many things that are not of my own world, such as dragons and some small traces of magic the rest is the same.

I am in what would be Paris, floating above it. Fly down and start looking around… ugh, so many humans. And what about the dragons only saw a few and most of them are in very remote regions and there was a pair that some humans were getting close over to.

The pair was actually at the North Pole, so that is where I would be heading over to. Quickly start flying and start moving towards the place, go a bit faster because I don’t want to spend a whole dream getting there and move a bit slower than light, reach the North Pole quickly and then slow down and start going towards the icy ground.

The wind blows hard and it chills everything it touches as if an ice witch was breathing directly on you. Quickly expand my cells over to my clothes and regulate my temperature and start walking like normal towards the location where the dragons are at, in the middle of a naturally formed, circular wall much like the one in Attack on Titan; the thing is thick and tall enough as to block the strength of the wind and its icy needles flying at top speed. This would have killed a human by now, and I wasn’t there for even a minute.

I keep walking towards the place which is much bigger now that I am looking at it directly and not from Scan, at least from my human perspective.

Once inside you could see A LOT of ice formations, from small to big caves formed from the dead winds coming over from the top of the walls, yet had died down on it making it way easier to move around and allowing for the temperature to warm up a little bit, enough for small water fountains to be in place and some life, both marine and land.

I get sidetracked in fact, watching the water pools connecting to the oceans below through some underground rivers, some fish are now living here and I can confidently say the place is beautiful.

Prepare to jump inside but feel like I am about to wake up so instead go to one of the smaller caves where I can crouch down to and sit down, then allow myself to wake up.

Back to sleep.

I am sitting on ice… WTF! Stand up quickly and hit my head then crouch down again and my head hurts and I feel dizzy and cold and heavy… oh its a dream. Regulate my temperature again and heal myself, apparently had hit myself hard enough as to bleed.

Get out of the small cave and look down at the water pool and jump in. When I do so hear a small scream and detect some humans here… they already got here!?

Apparently this is a whole class, why?

Start using Scan while swimming to a location where the humans won’t be able to see me while making sure my lungs can still breathe underwater.

I see a pod come into the water then the head of a girl pops in and she looks around but can’t see me. While reading everything around me discover that they come with a teacher that got special permission for this, he didn’t tell them where he was going and deviated from the original plan, obviously. After all this is the North Pole sand the children could easily die, even with the clothes and special equipment they brought.

They are very happy, and the teacher deviated because he is trying to get here before a group of people that wants to kill the dragon, does. Apparently, they are some sort of mage group that is run by the government, and they don’t actually know how to protect magic as it is very thin in this world and the only idea they have is to kill other creatures that use it, not knowing they are actually the ones allowing magic to flow into this world and having more of them would actually bring more, not less.

The teacher was part of the original exploration group that found the two dragons prior to them moving to this place, the dragons made friends with them and the group decided not to kill them and help them to run away.

The dragons liked the location and were immune to the cold; one was a black dragon with golden spots around its neck and back while the other was a dark green dragon with emerald eyes and fluffy hair beneath its wings and neck.

After reading all of that start to wonder what the issue is, but the government obviously has more resources. They are just lost right now and the guy is basically a walking stick of disaster as he has brought hostages that they can use against him, useless ones at that because they are literal children.

Also found out cool the helicopter they brought with them, it can resist the winds of the North Pole! Didn’t know that existed. As they start going towards the dragons lair the kids start feeling the cold and want to return, the guy has no other option than to obey and as soon as they leave I phase through the thick ice while looking at them go away.

Unfortunately, didn’t realize one of the girls had come back to check on the underwater me and actually saw me and thought I was a ghost “Bye ghost” she said, while happily trotting towards her friends.

Not so much fun for me but still nothing too grand or annoying. Kept walking towards the dragon and unlike the memories of the people there, they were not very welcoming with me.

Maybe they could feel I am more of a monster but Scan said they were actually just protecting their babies, 7 baby dragons that hatched just last month, causing a fluctuation in magic and the reason why the government was looking out for them and pinpointed the possible location.

To get to their nest, you needed to cross a BIG cave which they had carefully carved with their breath to create pools and connect it to the ocean on the floor and on the top also so they could fly out. The babies were all full of fur and could still not fly nor swim so they were pretty exposed.

I start talking to them with telepathy and explain that I am not there to kill them and also explain the situation, they let me come closer and I sit down next to the babies and tap them while creating food for them and feeding them; the parents get a chance to rest and eat whatever they had hunt down themselves.

This doesn’t last long because I end up waking after like 10 or so minutes.

Back to sleep.

I am walking around a small cave a bit worried due to being super cold, become lucid and regulate my temperature again then quickly jump down and phase through the ice and feel a human using creatures to look for the dragons.

I slip through the creature and connect to the human through his mind, then directly talk to him to leave now, he gets chills and disconnects but from what Scan says he is not letting go.

They really want to come here and capture the dragons and I will not be letting them do so. A group of seven people all of them with certain skills.

As I am moving towards the dragons again and preparing to explain, get distracted by the colourful purple dance of lights in the sky that is making the ice mirror the play. That looks way too nice.

After like a good 5 minutes of watching that get back on track and move back towards the dragons.

As soon as I arrive the black dragon jumps then greets me then the green dragon looks at the sky and I can hear a helicopter. We wait for a bit and sure enough eventually it shows closer and closer. Tell them to not worry about it and quickly fly towards the helicopter.

It is a very thick-metal helicopter with two propellers on top, due to it being rather large. Brownish in colour, moving slowly, the thing looked cheap. Quickly grab both propellers to stop it from moving then push it down towards the ground and smash it enough so it won’t be working ever again. The dragons come see and then they tell me not to kill the humans… uh? Apparently they are the good humans who want to help out!

Tell the humans that I am sorry and go back to the dragons and tell them they have to leave to another inhospitable location so that their kids can grow up nicely. They were worried since the human machine could no longer fly, not like that would help the government had better equipment and would arrive in at most 1 minute.

Everyone was starting to get on edge so I use my own teleportation skills and bring everyone over to a desert. Everyone sees the difference in locations and just stares blankly before feeling the heat and starting to take off their clothes “A city is nearby, an hour or two walking in this direction” tell the humans while pointing “and here nobody ever comes, you may want to bring your kids 10 to 20 minutes over to that direction” tell the dragons and proceed to go back to the other place.

One of the human stops me and tells me if I am going back “Yeah, they won’t stop unless dead” I say and teleport back.

The humans had arrived already and were testing the dragon eggs and checking the nest “Nothing found, uh?” tell them.

As people who came here with the idea to kill dragons they instantly shot at me so I just grab the bullet, “Anti-tank?” tell them, then toss the bullet away. One of them starts a fire around me and then tries to make it engulf me.

At this point my clothes are already fused to me so just breath in t he fire and then blow a bit of wind and throw all 7 of them away, then create a gravity field where they fall and make them unable to move. One of them throws some kind of dagger to my head which just makes me tilt a bit, look at it and grab it with TK then eat the thing and proceed to increase the force of the gravity and make them sink into the water.

Hold them there while the icy water kills them then teleport over to the main place of their organization and then proceed to tell them to not be idiots and that magical creatures are funnelling magic into this world, then proceed to turn around while pushing everything with TK, killing all of their major battle sources and data people and then crush everything so only the non important people survive.

Feel myself waking up so hold onto the dream a bit longer while using Scan to make sure anyone with the idea of killing dragons or other such creatures is dead, two people are still alive so also snipe them with a gravity centre next to their head that crushes them, then wake up.

Back to sleep.

I am reading something online. Become lucid while doing so and decide I will be checking things. Been a while since last time I was online in a dream.

Start browsing random websites and find a few good mangas to read. Spend a while there, read 20 chapters of one that is about flying cities and people moving between them not knowing what is at the bottom.

Don’t get too far because some notification pops up from a hacker, so teleport to the hacker and take off his arm then proceed to unhack myself and tell the guy not to ever do that again.

He is mad and scared, but mostly scared. He retracts back to his little corner in the room and then goes back to mad. As soon as that happens I know he will try again so touch the wall and make the wall next to him grow spikes and kill the guy.

Teleport back to my room but no longer want to read the manga, teleport instead back to the world with the dragons and find that the humans are still there with the dragons.

Apparently once I left, they knew it would take them a while to get accustomed to the new environment. The green dragon for example had lost its fur already but the babies had trouble with it, so the humans were teaching them how to do a house.

I was helping, also created gold coins for the humans in order for them to go back and forth to the city and kept talking with the dragons about their old adventures. Used Scan so I could also see what had happened and see their friends and as I learnt more expanded Scan to the whole planet and told them the location of their friends in this planet.

They lived super long lives and as such most were still alive; the dragons were delighted to learn this and I was very happy to be helping but time was not on my side. Even though it felt like hours of talking and the guys going back and forth between the cities finally could feel myself about to wake up so let it happen.

Back to sleep.

I am in the middle of a very hot place. Become lucid while trying to see around me but too much sun. Adjust my body as soon as I am lucid and can see again. Cool!

Go back to the dragons and start talking to them and everything, like normal.

We start eating, sit around and I make sure to create an underground cave in the middle of the desert where nobody will be able to detect the dragons.

Also make a path that will allow the humans to come and go. Also create a supply of coins that will last them several lifetimes and make sure we are far enough that human civilization won’t reach here.

We ate slowly and talked about the lives of everyone except mine, many complained about that little fact but did not fight much whenever I said that I wasn’t important and continued being happy about the dragons and the fact they could visit their friends soon.

While talking with all of them could feel a weird presence in the distance. Not sure who it was but they were using something similar to Scan, except they were literally looking at things instead of learning by merging the consciousness.

It seems like the humans had a plan to link all of their abilities, so me killing everyone else powered up this guy and he isn’t very nice to other creatures that can channel magic, he wants it all for himself. Tell the others to go hide and that I will be gone then feel I am about to wake up, so wake up first.

Back to sleep. (DEILD)

I am back on the same place and ready to find the guy whom apparently is already inside of our little cave that I made initially, he is looking for the entrance to the second cave.

He notices me and turns around, then tells me to leave that I have no business here. Suppress him with TK and then proceed to walk towards the guy.

He starts humming something and breaks free, oh? The guy then teleports behind me and tries to trap me using some chains. I stop them and just phase through them like normal then tell him to stop already.

Scan does let me know he is pretty confident in his power, since right now he has nearly all of the magic in the world from humans so let him know he is half right “You do have all the magic from humans” say to him.

He tops for a second and finally says I may not be human then a blade comes flying at me. Grab it with my fingers and I start singing back at him. Surprisingly, the song comes out nicely and the guy dies in terror but I want to do it again so I can remember upon waking up.

Rewind time to before I had started to sing and forgot to erase the memories of the guy, so he tries to run away. Just adjust the song a little bit and pursue him once more before finally eliminating all the issues with this planet.

More non lucids, the most memorable dream was me driving around with 2 of my brothers. It was nighttime and we stopped on the top of a hill. I didn't want to drive down because I saw a raging river flooding the bottom of the hill, I saw a bus drive through it but it got fully submerged before clearing it. I was asking for a vote if I should drive across it lol.

I'll be posting about night 5 later today, finally got a lucid.

The idea is to train your ability to remember to do things in the future. The classic example of prospective memory (PM) is remembering to buy a particular item the next time you're in the grocery store.

You are creating a "stimulus:response" association in your mind, so that when the stimulus happens (you arrive at the store), you suddenly remember, "oh yeah, I wanted to buy lemons (or whatever)"

The stimulus can be anything: seeing a red car, stepping on a bus, going through a doorway, etc. For lucid dreaming, the usual response is "I realize I'm dreaming --- this is a dream".

PM is used in the MILD technique, or simply on its own. When you return to sleep after waking in the night, tell yourself, "the next time I see anything, I realize I'm dreaming".

You can do "daytime MILD" or "SMILE" (Sensei's condensed version) just by visualizing a common dream sign, or dream occurrence, and telling yourself "I'm dreaming!", and repeat this over and over or until you feel you've successfully "set" the stimulus:response. Doing PM exercises help to make these stimulus:response pairs fire successfully more often, leading to more lucid dreams (is the theory).

Another way to train PM is to simply set a timer, and then try to turn off the timer JUST BEFORE the time expires. Start with shorter times, then as you get better, move to longer times. Then you can use this at night to say, "in 3 hours I will be having a dream and I will realize I'm dreaming" (use whatever time makes sense, 30 minutes, 10 minutes, 1 hour, etc., based on your sleep/dreaming patterns).

Trying to work on my daytime awareness. Got another LD! Though this one was quite fuzzy the whole way and near the end of it I felt some strong "pulses" like I was about to wake up, which made me doubt if I was still dreaming at that point vs. just "imagining" things while half-awake. How do you tell?

I'm a bit suspicious that this is going well so far for me but I guess I'm not new to lucid dreaming, just never really had the consistency or motivation. Fingers crossed this keeps up!

I used MILD, reviewed my dream signs, and what I was gonna do lucid in that dream. Song “Hiraeth” by Clemens Ruh from prior dream kept playing through my head. Took me a while to fall asleep so I tried SSILD, which turned into WILD and I slid into light sleep paralysis. I asked for lucid dream, but nothing seemed to happen. I was super tired and felt awake in my bed. I assumed it didn’t work, but I worked up the energy to do a RC by looking at my hands. It took a lot of energy to move my hands through the sheets and lift my head. Lo and behold I had extra fingers, making this one of the most convincing false awakenings.

I immediately spring out of bed, and rub my hands to stabilize the dream. Everything is super vivid, however it feels like I have one eye closed so I spend a moment trying to regain depth vision. My first task is to control the elements. I’ve worked with water and wind before, and wanted to try fire for the first time. I lifted my hands in front of me and willed flames into being above my palms. It was really faint at first, but I imagined using my body heat/energy to ‘heat’ up the flames and they became more stable. Still fairly subdued, so I’d like to try again at some point. At that moment, a hyper-real, very physical/sensual man walked right up to me. I do not recognize him from waking life.

It was hard to deny his physicality and I could feel the warmth of his body and pull of his attraction. We chatted for a while and he wanted to engage in "things". We chat briefly about how it feels so real and physical, and if because of that it counts as much as in real-life.

At various points in our conversation I try to sneakily summon a wall that I can walk through since it is on my list as my second task, but unfortunately a wall doesn’t appear and the man is still a distraction haha. The scene shifts and I notice that the man now has the head of animal. This reminds me of my third intention which was to transform fully into an animal. I know it’s out of intended order, but seemed relevant for what was happening so I gave it a try.

I think of the leopard from my prior dream and feel myself morph onto all fours. I look down and see bright orange leopard paws and claws. They are little deformed and too bright so I spend a moment dulling the color and getting the shape right. At that moment I notice there is a wall in front of me. It seems like there are blue stained glass windows in the upper half, and I immediately think now's my chance to practice phasing through. In leopard form, I leap through, but realize I closed my eyes at the last second passing through so it doesn't count. I turn around and try again, but this time the wall almost flips aside like it’s a made out of flimsy plastic. I try one more time and make sure to keep my eyes open and focus on phasing through the wall fully and it works.

The whole time I’m doing this, the now animal-headed man is looking very confused and is trying to follow me back and forth through the wall. He ends up getting stuck on the other side after I phase through.

I end up landing into another false awaking, and do another reality check, but didn’t catch it that time so ended up slipping into a non-lucid dream.

Ah, so she can do that, can’t she?

I am looking around, become lucid while doing so and decide to leave the place, I am currently outside my house in the middle of the street and the middle of the night.

But it doesn’t quite feels right. Still the earth of waking but not the same one, learning through Scan is always such a bother.

This time I take over a dream character by possession who lives close to the beach and learn a lot about this world from him. People have so many powers and use them so wrongly. He will be my vessel to free creatures that are being held captive by humans, of course.

I use him to quickly fly over from the town he lives at to the beach where things are happening at. When I arrive realize that he is actually friend with the person that I am planning to steal from, maybe as well kill and he isn’t very happy about the whole thing and tries to resist, so force him to sleep.

Once he is asleep go down and start searching both the ocean and the land to find the creatures, big cats that I am going to rescue today. Unfortunately the dream feels like it is coming to an end and wake up.

Back to sleep.

I am going around the beach talking to random people… this is so unlike me, become lucid. Once I am lucid start moving towards the ocean again and then walk a bit on the water. Not many creatures, dive into the water and see it isn’t very deep, a reef?

Go a bit further and see that not very far from the beach side, you can really see a huge fall, at least 100 meters and it only goes further, this place is connected to big… or deep ocean tides apparently. Somehow it feels important but since I am using the knowledge of the guy I am possessing ignore it.

Start swimming back up and then walk back to the beach and start registering people’s memories. Apparently that is a skill this guy actually uses so I won’t be having too much trouble with him fighting back, like when I was using Scan.

Learn enough as to pinpoint the location of the cats since the last time I was here.

Apparently his friend moved them as soon as she learnt he was here… this guy is troublesome, maybe I should just go ahead and kill everyone like normal.

Start getting frustrated and not sure what to do. The wind is getting crazy and this may harm the cats so just move my hand and stop the clouds from moving, push them back and change a bit the rotation of the planet enough just to make it so that the climate becomes calm for now, even though I know it will come back later.

Teleport to the sky and start watching from there, what should I be doing… possession of a DC is kind of not my thing, and this guy is annoying me as he keeps resisting. Don’t get to do much as can hear my alarm shortly after.

Back to sleep.

I am on the ground, on sand. Become lucid while standing up and decide to now investigate things a bit more seriously.

Take full control of the kid and put his consciousness to sleep. Start flying around and then can feel the girl detecting me. I know it is something related to sight so create a barrier around me to stop her sensing, but she can still somehow see from afar.

Become invisible and then continue flying around for a long time.

There are way too many places that sell fish, and I hate how fish are killed in general… this pisses me off. Get close to the locations and let the fish get away.

There is a place in particular with Octopi and so get to where they are being kept, extend my arm and let them out. One of them is BIG, and I actually feel a bit worried since their beak is so strong; it may not harm me, but maybe the kid.

The octopus actually just uses his hand to climb and them jump into the sea. By this point the girl is obviously onto us and apparently looking for him, but she is far. So I take my sweet time watching around some more and find a place preparing veggie pizza so take a few slices and eat them.

After eating them, the girl finally finds the guy but I am unable to be detected. Or at least I thought so. The boy had woken up and was using his own skills to let himself be known… this isn’t good for him.

The girl knows him, they are supposedly friends and yet she stabbed at him. Manage to evade mid-air and make him fly towards the location I can feel the girl is protecting.

We crash against a fence and make it fall. The little kid is bleeding but nothing bad. Once I get him back on his feet see a Jaguar outside of its cage and all the other exotic cats in their respective cages. The kid is a scared boy… he actually gets weak on his knees and falls down when the Jaguar gets close, can so clearly feel his fear.

In fact, he gets so weak that the girl manages to catch up to us and I can’t do much about it. At this point am also waking up so don’t worry about it too much and just allow myself to wake up.

Back to sleep.

I am being drowned… become lucid while fighting back with no luck. As soon as I gain lucidity start breathing underwater then pull the girl down the water with me and let all the cats free from their cages using TK.

The girl flies us both out of water and brings us flying towards a red warehouse, about to fall down due to the sea water running it down.

She isn’t very powerful, how is she surviving? I try to kill her by punching her but she becomes dust, then compress her with TK and my hands and she gets some damage but then becomes rubber. What?

Apparently, she is adapting to my attacks? No matter, start releasing thunder/electricity, since she is made out of rubber, this should not register as danger.

Two of her friends come, another man and a woman. I grab her and take her into a small room. She says I can’t hurt her since she is rubber “You can’t move, can you?” tell her, she finally realizes that the huge amounts of electricity have made her rubbery side become rigid due to heat and she is starting to slowly burn.

If I close the two doors for the room where I took her she should die suffocated by her own body burning. Nothing else to do. The man who came to rescue her grabs me so I kick him back, he loses consciousness. The woman tries also to save her so close both doors with TK and then just let the kid sit down, exhausted.

Should have no more problems with fighting the girl, she will suffocate. But then, it seems that the other woman also could use powers… and she rescued the cat dealer.

I am getting annoyed now. She is taken away and I try to use the kid again but he is way too tired, he eventually passes out and I wake up.

Back to sleep.

I am feeling dizzy, become lucid while rolling over and stand up “Are you finally awake?” says the man I had kicked before, ignore him and prepare to find the girl.

But there is no need, she is already here with us, she is also very mad. She screams things at the boy whom is getting a reaction out of it, I can feel tears flowing down his cheek. Force him asleep and then want to kill the girl when I feel myself being bolted down by water.

Is that what the other woman used before? The cat dealer takes the chance and she brings me down the ocean along with her, the other two follow suit and apparently all three of them can breathe underwater, except for my useless host.

I make him being able to breathe underwater and then stand up, no longer choking to survive. The woman prepares to attack so I start using TK on her to stop her movements; she then proceeds to break free and gains resistance to it… ok what?

Finally something even more strange happens, the cat dealer grabs me and I can feel the kid slipping down. She was actually grabbing me and not the kid? Prepare to move out of the way and see a spear created by the kid block my path, the other two are also doing things on their own.

I start laughing, had forgotten water moves sound by faster as it seems my laughter was too loud and made all fish scared and they swam away, the humans around me also seem to have problems with the sound, so I apologize.

“So, she is just evolving to survive whatever I throw at her?” ask them, but they ignore me. The kid tries to stab me with his weapon but it does absolutely nothing.

The other girl tries to control the water to make it go down my throat but I can just breathe underwater. Also make sure to push her away with a wave of the ocean itself. She freezes, she knew what happened and was no longer in the mood to fight.

Grab the spear and crush it under my hand for the kid to lose his fighting spirit, he is way too weak. The other guy was scared already and was swimming away.

Meanwhile, the cat dealer, she was fine, she knew that I could not kill her because she would just evolve to survive whatever.

Her ability was basically making her unable to be defeated by changing destiny and causality, but she was not the only one with those skills. I can change them and negate them too, should be simple to kill her but she was torturing non humans so wanted to learn a lesson.

Grab her head and then open a big mouth, she struggles but still gets into my mouth, dissolve her with acids. She becomes smaller and her body becomes resistant to acid, so I use a different type of dissolvent that works on things resistant to acids.

She then switches, her ability is about to teleport her out of my so block that and then close my mouth and gulp the girl down to my stomach.

She laughs and says will get out, then screams in pain as my body starts to digest her slowly and adapts to her changes, she being unable to escape.

Wonder how long it will take her to give up all hope and stop her ability, and allow herself to die? If she gains mental resilience, will block that causality and make her go back to being able to feel all the fear, all the pain and all the desperation. She won’t be getting out of this with me simply blocking her destiny manipulation to kill her.

Once I am sure she is fully sealed inside of me move the ocean aside and fly out of the water, then teleport all the non humans to their respective habitats and make sure humans won’t be able to lay a hand on them from now on.

Before I wake up, create another universe where civilizations are stuck at mediaeval times and teleport in there.

Arrive at a big castle with red towers and yellow walls. It is pretty but way too flashy. I am not very content with the location but it will work for now, wake up after that.

Very successful LD in all regards -- length, quality and points! It was interesting to meet someone who claimed to also be lucid dreaming. Had never had that happen before. Got some good advice out of him too!
I can feel the dream recall paying off. If I had this lucid a couple of months back, I wouldn't remember half of it, but as it was I only lost a bit in the end. This is probably the best shape I've ever been in dreaming-wise.

EDIT: I think I'm still in time to choose another set of tasks for my three step? Let's go with
Task 1: Telekinesis
Task 2: Basic Summoning
Task 3: Object/DC Changing

As opposed to last set, I have never really successfully done any of these, so I'm looking forward to seeing what I can do!

I try and stabilize by rubbing hands together, and eating strawberry. The strawberry has a faint taste, so I ask if it can be sweeter with moderate success. I'm standing in this dressing room facing out towards the curtain. Right outside the curtain there's a kid who hands me a golden chocolate coin. I look at it. It's a DB coin... I brush my thumb across the raised surface of the B to make it into a V -- a DV coin. I snap a bit off for him to eat (it's a very thick coin, like a regular chocolate bar) and he tries it and makes a face. I am about to try it when I wake up.

I heavent really attempted to do my personal goals so far, i'll change that for next time. Also im adding this.

- Insert a hand into a rotary kiln's pinch point, where a spinning wheel rotates the kiln.

I went to a cement manufacturing plant with school and just seeing the pinch point where a wheel spins the the entire 50 meter long metal tube made me really uncomfortable, the idea that once a little piece of your clothing gets caught up in there you get slowly pulled in by the enormous force of the rotating tons of hot iron (1200+ °C inside) and knowing you wont and cant get out as you get curshed. Even if it gest stopped really fast, you still have a crushed burning hand that has to be amputated just so you could leave.

I may have chenged my mind after writing this down, but we'll see.

(idk how to add pictures, but you can google 'rotary kiln pinch point', it is the spot between the silver ring on the big tube and the smaller silver wheel under it)

I definitely see Stronghold (3) and Magic (1), but as for weapons: did you see any swords, axes, even rifles...etc.?
I'd love to give it for the dragon but it's a bit of stretch.

No lucid but a really rare anomaly; think I almost had a WILD straight after going to bed. Looked down to my body after a few minutes and there was blood everywhere. Jumped up and it was all gone.:eek:

Monday July 8th 2024

Dragons, but no smithing.

I am home looking at something on the computer. Become lucid and decide I will be leaving back to that universe I created for the competition.

BUT! Before leaving go to a random chat in one of the many discord servers I am in for lucid dreaming and tell people to do a RC, because I am dreaming right now, then leave before anyone can reply.

As soon as I arrive start falling from the sky and can see storm clouds below me. So teleport over to the other side to avoid any annoying sights and then find myself super close to the floor… end up falling face first to some rocks.

Stand up a bit confused as to why I got there to the floor first and start looking around. Everything is so rocky, there is so much wind and the clouds are basically within reach with a small jump and when looking down everything makes sense, I am really high on a mountain.

Start walking around, trying to find something to do. As I am moving around the mountain, can see in the distance the castle from before in its bright colours, except from this far away it looks orange instead of yellow and red, but I guess that makes sense given the light?

Wonder if I should be going there or just stay here, when I hear a very loud roar, loud enough as to make the smaller rocks shake a bit from the sound vibrations and obviously decide to stay here. But I am not sure when I will be waking up and how much time I have so wake myself up to check the hour.

Back to sleep.

I am back on the mountain, become lucid near instantly and not exactly sure why. Once lucid start looking around again to find where the dragon is at.

I got lucid, but wasn’t very smart as was just looking like normal instead of using Scan like normal. After a few minutes finally find a dragon, or more like the dragon finds me. I get hit by a giant rock in the head and basically it buries me a bit on the mountain floor.

Quickly lift the rock and get myself out of there while throwing the rock to the side. The dragon was just flying around and the moment it hears the rock, its head rocks back like a person hearing their name in a fast food restaurant at peak hour.

Apparently it is mad that I am still alive and I am glad that it is attacking me so openly. Teleport in front of the dragons stomach and then slap his ass back to the ground. Want to talk but first a beating, since he is so eager to fight.

The dragon is a regular western dragon type with big wings, bird type bones, yellow-ish stomach and green body overall, he is also as big as a two story house.

Fly down to where the dragon fell down, diving onto the ground just like I did and in the middle of rubble, can’t even see him. Feel some air going in so expect a fire breath coming my way and prepare to block it when I see a bright light instead and a huge ray of light comes my way.

Instinctively reach out my hand and block it; as soon as the light hits my hand it starts breaking into hundreds of smaller pieces that fly around me and then converge back, so use a barrier and block them when a big hand grabs me from below the ground.

This dragon is good but if we continue fighting may kill it accidentally. Use a bit more strength and break free and grab the dragon, lift it and toss it again against the rocky floor, then put it in place using TK.

Try to connect through telepathy with the dragon and then a huge flare comes from my side… OK I need to use Scan dang it. The flame blocks my view and my clothes start to melt so fuse them with my cells and grow them back.

The flame finally gives out and the dragons are surprised that I survived that “Yeah, I am still alive” tell them telepathically and their surprise grows larger but they are not stopping at all; another beam of white light strikes from above and the energy keeps going despite hitting me.

It is breaking through the floor and I feel like it will hurt life below me so finally stop it by extending my hand and absorbing the energy then grab all of them with TK, force them together and fly above them then place them in a void and make them submit due to lack of oxygen.

All three dragons are raging but can’t oppose me any further than they already did “Why are you attacking me?” ask the dragons, they are mad but respond humans always come here to attack them. We talk for a few minutes and I am mad at the humans now, so tell them no more humans will come here to cause disaster so long as I am in the mountain, but also explain that I will be leaving soon. They are of course mostly confused about how I talk about humans and end up waking up without doing much.

Back to sleep.

I am sitting on top of a rock and it is starting to rain. Become lucid while going down the rock and realize I am still on the mountain with the dragons.

They ask me why I passed out “Hard to explain, but it happens often” tell them and resume my normal thing. Go flying with the dragons, they really like going into the clouds and roaring and I hate the clouds so always just fly below cloud level.

Eventually, they tell me a human has come so activate Scan and teleport next to the human. I think he is hunting, as he has a rabbit with him. Show myself and tell the human to leave. He says it is going to be fine, as the army of the empire will be here soon and he is a seasoned warrior of it.

Tell him to leave again or he won’t be leaving alive. He says it is fine again and finally realizes that I am not on his side. He tells me that they will reclaim this territory and apparently believes I am from another country.

“The dragons don’t like you, leave and take your army with you” tell him, to be a bit more clear. He finally understands and he takes out his sword and says they won’t be backing down. Spit on the sword and melt it.

He then creates another one and says he won’t be scared, then comes at me. I open my mouth and then eat his sword with a single bite, lick my lips and look at him, he then creates another sword so finally grab his hand and melt his armour, his clothes and then proceed to kick him hard enough for his dead body to fall where the army is at.

They proceed to get aggressive so crush them all using hyper gravity and their own armours do the rest. Half the army dies, the other half survives but no longer want to defy the dragons. One of them, the green one I gave a good beating to comes next to me and lands “We could kill them easily” he says “Yeah, but they will destroy a lot on their way here” reply back, he agrees and goes back with his friends.

Also make sure to strengthen the creatures on the mountain to make sure they won’t be killed in the aftermath and feel like I will have to wake up again, I know this time will have to leave for work so whatever.

Aha, not a good place to get lucid at.

Only slept one hour in the morning so was super sleepy. The first dream was mostly at home, was non lucid for a while and once I gained lucidity talked to family to tell them I was leaving right away.

After that started talking to another person, someone who was outside and wanted me to give them something. Gave them death mostly and flew out of the way, then teleported over to the ocean and just was on top of the water resting. Nothing else done.

Back to sleep. (This was at work)

I was at work trying to fall asleep. As soon as I did due to not sleeping right got into SP and it made me feel like there was an earthquake going on. Which made me super anxious but finally realized it was just the SP.

After that forced a WILD and walked out of the room I was in, then saw a beach outside, so walked over to the window and phased through the three crystals on it then started flying towards the beach, and just stood there to chill out.

Back to sleep.

I am back in the office. Walk out again the door and then see that the window I phased through is gone and instead there is a weird chinese like room. And to top it off, people are dancing in there. Ignore them and when they try to stop me just phase through all of them until I get past the wall and fall towards the beach that I was on before.

This time don’t have to fly but too many people. Look around and find an island not too far from me, just a few kilometres. Fly over there and then land on the place, the thing more so than an island looks like a mountain in the middle of the ocean. That’s good, since there is not really a place for people to reach through boat since there are basically cliffs everywhere. And as such, nobody is in the location. Use that to excuse myself and just chill looking at the sky.

I got lucid, but wasn’t very smart as was just looking like normal instead of using Scan like normal. After a few minutes finally find a dragon, or more like the dragon finds me. I get hit by a giant rock in the head and basically it buries me a bit on the mountain floor.

Quickly lift the rock and get myself out of there while throwing the rock to the side. The dragon was just flying around and the moment it hears the rock, its head rocks back like a person hearing their name in a fast food restaurant at peak hour.

Apparently it is mad that I am still alive and I am glad that it is attacking me so openly. Teleport in front of the dragons stomach and then slap his ass back to the ground. Want to talk but first a beating, since he is so eager to fight.

The dragon is a regular western dragon type with big wings, bird type bones, yellow-ish stomach and green body overall, he is also as big as a two story house.

Fly down to where the dragon fell down, diving onto the ground just like I did and in the middle of rubble, can’t even see him. Feel some air going in so expect a fire breath coming my way and prepare to block it when I see a bright light instead and a huge ray of light comes my way.

Instinctively reach out my hand and block it; as soon as the light hits my hand it starts breaking into hundreds of smaller pieces that fly around me and then converge back, so use a barrier and block them when a big hand grabs me from below the ground.

This dragon is good but if we continue fighting may kill it accidentally. Use a bit more strength and break free and grab the dragon, lift it and toss it again against the rocky floor, then put it in place using TK.

Try to connect through telepathy with the dragon and then a huge flare comes from my side… OK I need to use Scan dang it. The flame blocks my view and my clothes start to melt so fuse them with my cells and grow them back.

The flame finally gives out and the dragons are surprised that I survived that “Yeah, I am still alive” tell them telepathically and their surprise grows larger but they are not stopping at all; another beam of white light strikes from above and the energy keeps going despite hitting me.

It is breaking through the floor and I feel like it will hurt life below me so finally stop it by extending my hand and absorbing the energy then grab all of them with TK, force them together and fly above them then place them in a void and make them submit due to lack of oxygen.

All three dragons are raging but can’t oppose me any further than they already did “Why are you attacking me?” ask the dragons, they are mad but respond humans always come here to attack them. We talk for a few minutes and I am mad at the humans now, so tell them no more humans will come here to cause disaster so long as I am in the mountain, but also explain that I will be leaving soon. They are of course mostly confused about how I talk about humans and end up waking up without doing much.

Back to sleep.

I am sitting on top of a rock and it is starting to rain. Become lucid while going down the rock and realize I am still on the mountain with the dragons.

They ask me why I passed out “Hard to explain, but it happens often” tell them and resume my normal thing. Go flying with the dragons, they really like going into the clouds and roaring and I hate the clouds so always just fly below cloud level.

Eventually, they tell me a human has come so activate Scan and teleport next to the human. I think he is hunting, as he has a rabbit with him. Show myself and tell the human to leave. He says it is going to be fine, as the army of the empire will be here soon and he is a seasoned warrior of it.

Tell him to leave again or he won’t be leaving alive. He says it is fine again and finally realizes that I am not on his side. He tells me that they will reclaim this territory and apparently believes I am from another country.

“The dragons don’t like you, leave and take your army with you” tell him, to be a bit more clear. He finally understands and he takes out his sword and says they won’t be backing down. Spit on the sword and melt it.

He then creates another one and says he won’t be scared, then comes at me. I open my mouth and then eat his sword with a single bite, lick my lips and look at him, he then creates another sword so finally grab his hand and melt his armour, his clothes and then proceed to kick him hard enough for his dead body to fall where the army is at.

They proceed to get aggressive so crush them all using hyper gravity and their own armours do the rest. Half the army dies, the other half survives but no longer want to defy the dragons. One of them, the green one I gave a good beating to comes next to me and lands “We could kill them easily” he says “Yeah, but they will destroy a lot on their way here” reply back, he agrees and goes back with his friends.

Also make sure to strengthen the creatures on the mountain to make sure they won’t be killed in the aftermath and feel like I will have to wake up again, I know this time will have to leave for work so whatever.

Tuesday July 9th 2024

Aha, not a good place to get lucid at.

Only slept one hour in the morning so was super sleepy. The first dream was mostly at home, was non lucid for a while and once I gained lucidity talked to family to tell them I was leaving right away.

After that started talking to another person, someone who was outside and wanted me to give them something. Gave them death mostly and flew out of the way, then teleported over to the ocean and just was on top of the water resting. Nothing else done.

Back to sleep. (This was at work)

I was at work trying to fall asleep. As soon as I did due to not sleeping right got into SP and it made me feel like there was an earthquake going on. Which made me super anxious but finally realized it was just the SP.

After that forced a WILD and walked out of the room I was in, then saw a beach outside, so walked over to the window and phased through the three crystals on it then started flying towards the beach, and just stood there to chill out.

Back to sleep.

I am back in the office. Walk out again the door and then see that the window I phased through is gone and instead there is a weird chinese like room. And to top it off, people are dancing in there. Ignore them and when they try to stop me just phase through all of them until I get past the wall and fall towards the beach that I was on before.

This time don’t have to fly but too many people. Look around and find an island not too far from me, just a few kilometres. Fly over there and then land on the place, the thing more so than an island looks like a mountain in the middle of the ocean. That’s good, since there is not really a place for people to reach through boat since there are basically cliffs everywhere. And as such, nobody is in the location. Use that to excuse myself and just chill looking at the sky.

Wednesday July 10th 2024

Donald Phillip what?

I am home doing some chores, become lucid while doing them and decide I will be going back to that other world.

Once I teleport there, find myself in the middle of a road and some people are passing by in a carriage; it looks somewhat expensive. They tell me to move it so just stay there until they come over and try to run me over; the horses get scared and move instead around me.

The people inside and the driver… driver? Anyway that person glare all at me. Just look at them all happy and move out of the way as soon as they get past me; go over to the forest and start picking up random fruits to eat, don’t do much besides that.

Back to sleep.

Reading something on the bus. Become lucid and teleport back to that other world, liked the forest quite a lot. Try to locate where I am compared to before and am on the road that leads towards the castle and that goes around the mountain where the dragons are at.

Humans finally stopped attacking the dragons too, they are afraid after the army was wiped out from afar basically.

I think they have requested for some people to come over to help, high level adventurers based on my readings. Also get told to move… oh wait, I got in their way again? Turn around to look at the surprised faces of my good old friends the driver and his people in the carriage. They must be wondering how I got here faster than them but this time they just pass by quietly.

Once again go over to the forest and wonder what I should be doing… right! Smithing, I really want to finish that goal but have done nothing about it so far. Maybe I should go to the castle? Get distracted by a few pretty flowers and give them way more importance; try to make a taxonomical guide right there using Scan and compare it to flowers from the waking world. Apparently these ones I am looking at have the ability to change their type of pollination target based on what hormones animals may be releasing while close to them, that’s quite cool!

Back to sleep.

I am going to the bathroom. Do my thing and then teleport back to the other world. This time I do want to go to the castle and see if they have anything that may endanger the dragons or the other creatures at the mountain.

Just teleport again to the castle doors and ask for permission to pass, but they obviously deny me. As I am arguing with the people at the door hear an annoyed scream from behind. Turn around and see the same carriage again… ha!

The people from before finally get out and then everyone at the castle door suddenly recognize the guy, they say its “Donald Phillip!” as if the guy is super important. He seems annoyed at me and then uses a quick step and moves in front of me.

Just look at him and then the others start praising him for his speed and skill and what not. Don’t give much importance to it since the guy is just a random person who is rather weak, but if he is the best they have to offer the dragons won’t have to worry at all.

The guy attempts to hit me with a quick draw of his sword so just duck and then jump behind him.

I don’t think he saw what I did because he turned around surprised. People started being annoying due to me being disrespectful to a member of a royal family who is also a great adventurer. Oh well, better kill him then before he turns against the dragons. Create a sword out of my hand when Donald Phillip looks at it take off his head.

Everyone tells him to get rid of me, not realizing he is already long dead. His head finally falls off and I turn around and leave, no longer need to worry about the dragon guys or the mountain zone.

Thursday July 11th 2024

I want that Ore, damn it.

I am home doing some homework… become lucid while doing so and wonder if I should finish or not. I mean, finishing means that I will actually get to know how to solve this, but that also means doing homework in a dream.

Do it quickly anyway. Gran some paper and create a pen then finish what I needed to do and like the answer that I came up with in a dream.

Dissolve both things and go outside, go to the bathroom but then remember I have not done any smithing so far and that is the one thing I really want to do, since it reminds me of my first kids I made as a smith back when I used the dream name “Walms” of my first created kid, instead of birthed.

Regardless, teleport back to that other world and surprisingly this time come to a location that has more normal houses, compared to my time rather than medieval times. The houses in general are like the ones in México, made out of brick and something else to glue them together, they look rather nice. The floors are just muddy in general but don’t really mind it.

Go find something to do, get some food and go sit down since won’t be doing much at all, the dream is close to ending.

Back to sleep.

I am sitting in the middle of a camp fire place, become lucid and throw something on the fire and look at it go higher.

The place and location are much like waking houses close to me and yet everything else is still following the theme. Wonder why I am here, and if there is anything worth mentioning at all.

Start using Scan and find somewhere that has some creatures protecting a type of Ore, for them apparently it is even more important than other living beings and extract it day in and out as if it was some kind of disease eating away at their minds.

I quite dislike the fact they are favouring their Ore over other creatures; it is also affecting humans but that isn’t really important. One of the entrances to their caves is close to where I am so just start walking towards that location.

As I am moving, see that more and more people are ill and can recognize that is due to the Ore, even though they have just gotten enough out of several kilometres radius of mining underground is like a 2KG small ball. The thing is really good though, as it can be infused with magic and made super durable if using the right stuff.

As I am walking start to see A LOT of dead animals all around me. I am starting to get mad, not only are they dead, the amount of ill birds all around due to the Ore is incredibly high. So breath in a high amount of the poison that comes from the mining and the Ore, then create an antidote and breathe it out and use wind control to expand it all around and heal the creatures around.

Damn Ore, I bet not many people actually dig it due to how toxic it can be. Make sure my antidote can self replicate and go worldwide to make the poisonous effect of this thing completely useless all around the globe.

Keep walking and finally arrive at the house where the creatures digging are at, but feel like I will be waking up soon; don’t do much, just allow myself to wake up and sit outside of the house.

Back to sleep.

Am sitting in front of a door. Stand up and become lucid, then turn around and go inside. Once inside realize there is nobody… oh right everyone was dying not too long ago. There is a small tunnel to my right where mud is coming out from.

The things mining are small, like… smaller than a cat, Chihuahua sized. They are orange and are made out of 3 round things sticking together growing small, round arms too. They eat at the dirt when possible but otherwise just are moving their arms all the time.

Pick one up and it kicks me a bunch until I let it go back down. Oh yeah… needed to go to the bathroom. Locate one in this house and go do my business. Thankfully the house is small, 3 rooms, the bathroom, a sleeping room and the entrance where I was at. The bedroom is to the left, the bathroom to the right and the things are mining and making that small hole bigger slowly next to the door leading to the bedroom.

Once I am done with my business go back to the main entrance room and look at the thing again. People come in and tell me we have to leave, that for some reason everyone got better and that a powerful mage from the alliance must be here, that we all have to leave before things become toxic again.

Tell them we will be fine and that the toxic part will never again be a problem. The woman does not believe me and tries to pull at me, but can’t “Just leave already” tell her, then she looks at one of the things and goes into a rage about them killing their children.

The woman tries to kick the thing, and 5 more come out and kick her around. Their kicks are so strong they tear apart the flesh and bones of the woman… well damn I was not expecting them to be that strong when the thing was kicking me before! Well the woman died not much I can do.

Go over to the door and a bigger thing like the other ones comes out and I fall back. After that hear my alarm… damn. Wake up.

Back to sleep.

Am on bed. Become lucid while quickly leaving it, the bed SUCKS. As soon a I get out look around and recognize the place, this is from the last location. Well at least now I don’t have to teleport.

Walk outside and see the big thing guarding the smaller ones. Go over there to grab the Ore, but it is basically just super small parts all around the whole hive these things have so start gathering it around me. Make my hand become magnetic to this thing only and wait.

As soon as the big thing realizes these particles are going over to me it gets angry and starts screaming and as soon as it does so, the small things that are next to it come over and start trying to stop me. I am not doing much but they continue coming out from small holes all around me and trying to grab the Ore that I have already gathered.

Start to get annoyed and prepare to kill them. First kick them out of my way and they suddenly are fast too, it is hard to move when you have so many of these things. Push them down with TK and hear them smash against the floor, way harder than I was expecting. Are they actually super heavy too? Apparently so, the house is giving out due to their weight alone. Stop the house from collapsing and a person comes in as I send out a heat wave.

Only the human dies and the things just get angry, but can feel they got damaged. Too bad for the human. Move over to their tunnels and then dive my hand in, find and understand the shape then create a fire that is hot enough to melt metal. They do not die, but get angry and then a much bigger thing, big enough to be the size of the house tries to come at me from a few kilometres away.

Stop it with TK and then use Scan on the whole planet. I am no longer waiting. Kill all of them with a fire and plasma as hot as the stars of this star system and make sure to create barriers so only they die, the things melt and basically only leave more of the ore behind as their bodies start to become gaseous.

Quickly collect all of it, have a 10 or so KG ball from these things around the globe. Start making the thing smaller until it can fit on my pocket and place it there, then absorb it into my body and hide it there as I feel my consciousness going back to the waking world.

I woke up and thought I heard something and got the sense I might be dreaming, so I float as a reality check and I find I'm dreaming. I decide to summon a young woman to make out with. I put my hand behind my back and feel a hand and turn around and see an attractive young woman. I ask her if she want to make out and she says she'd rather cuddle and then lays out a complicated plan of what to do after cuddling. So we cuddle for a little bit and then she get distracted by the sight of a golf club and grabs one and practices her golf swing and I woke up.

I double check by trying to fly (hovering over the ground) and it seems to work, though I end up floating in a black void. I think about what I should be doing and vaguely remember "fire" so I raise my hands up and summon a ball of fire between my hands. I'm about to throw it when I think I should probably ground myself first and imagine standing in a house indoors again. It works, but I wake up.

Yes! One of the main reasons I started seriously trying to lucid dream was when I discovered dream yoga was a thing. Have read through most of "The Tibetan Yogas of Dream and Sleep" and also practicing the Four Foundational Practices as much as possible.

This is awesome! Looks like it really worked well!

I'll actually add +5 for basic summon in Day 10, Dream 2 as you anticipated the pizza.
For the bow, I'd say let's keep the 7.5 for the bow shot, yet convert the +5 to a +3 (counting dream theme -weapons), and keep the arrow for (+10).
So up 3 for the 2 nights : )

Got some really great sleep, slept through the whole night.

Had an extremely vivid dream, even though it wasn't lucid it felt more real that my typical lucids.

(Mild body horror warning :p)

I was wondering around an unknown job site trying to figure out how I should install some lights. The prints weren't showing any light in a couple high spots and I was thinking I should either mount the ones that are there to even out the lighting or maybe just ask the question. A bit later I found that there were lights in those weird spots, just in a different section of the prints. I went to get a closer look at the spot and to my surprise someone just installed some lights there. I took a look at my arm and saw a string coming out of it, I decide to pull on it. It stung, then the inside of my arm opened up like a deep pocket, the part were you get blood drawn from. I woke up after that.

My GF run from the castle and I run after her, I catch up to her in the forest there's glowing things all around, ... We go through a portal and suddenly we are in the modern times, at some place for shopping. Some ninjas/agents come towards us and they immediately feel hostile and I get ready to be defensive. One of them draws a sword and I quickly get one out as well, blocking their attack. A fight starts bursting out, with all kinds of weapons: katanas, knifes, guns, riffles. I split bullets in halves, and it's all very much likes matrix with ninjas + superhot.. Suddenly it all becomes too much and I start running back in the timeline in a way that makes me think of and feel like running on a youtube video's timeline/scroll bar thingy (I forget the actual name).. Note: I'm surprised I don't become lucid with all the weird unusual stuff happening.

I woke up and thought I had some noise and thought I might be dreaming. I did a nose plug and could breathe. I flew down a hallway and into a living room, where there appeared to be a family gathering. I thought about what to do and woke up.
DILD#2
I noticed what appeared to be a golf course in a valley being torn up and some train tracks being built in it's place. I somehow realized that I was dreaming and I flew up to get a better view. I was surprised to notice a mountain I live near in IWL, given it is not near the golf course that I thought was being torn up. I notice a sprawling city of medium density buildings. I try to make sense of the simplistic signs on the shops. I notice a song being sung similar to the song "Wordplay" and I woke up.

I could feel that if I laid in bed a little longer, WILD would work, I was hearing all the ringing sounds that I get from it very often. work is work though :p
Some interesting phone dreams though, been getting a lot of those recently.

I was playing some type of MMO and decided I wanted a drink and went to the kitchen. I could hear voices on the phone talking about my AFK character,
"Look an AFK!" said girl 1
"Lets push him in the water!" Girl 2 responds.
I look at my phone to see what's happening.
*apparently my phone can see and hear what my character experiences*
sure enough, I see three players pushing me into the water. To put a stop to it I press the mic button on the app and yell
"I'm just getting a drink!"
"Oh, well do you want to go AVE?" girl one asks.
After he asks me that I started getting pretty nervous and didn't know if I should or not, I couldn't believe a girl was asking me to this to begin with.
After taking a few more moments frozen like a statue.
"Let's just go" Girl 1 says with a sigh.
I use my phone to spectate them for a moment and see them fighting some enemies.
"They're only level 9?" I think to myself. I must have dodged a bullet, I'm level 32.

I was looking at my phone and was scrolling through my gallery when to my surprise I found some old cat videos I thought I deleted. I watched one where my cat had a walking harness on and couldn't move very well, scrolled passed a couple others and watched one more where my cat was staring at some tripping visuals on a computer screen. *Those videos exist on my phone but in my dream they were a lot different. *

Probably because I've not been in my usual environment during this time, but through this competition I've gained a lot of motivation, and new goals for what I want to do in my lucid dreams. Well done. I need to focus more on high scoring controls. It looks like mass manipulation works well for me and scores well, I just discovered it (sort of by inspiration) only on my final LD of the comp. Just ran out of gas there and two nights after the two LDs were recovery nights.

Thanks! And love your transforming 20 kids into cats, putting them on a couch, and making them all bark like dogs! And totally understand about LD recovery nights...especially when you have set strong intentions they seem particularly draining.
