Thread: Summer Competition 2023 Signups

The summer sun got you sweating, or was it nervous anticipation?
Not to fret, the wait is over. It's comp time again!

If you've never been part of the competitions, check out the previous comp here for an example for how it works.

The competition will be held between June 1st-June 15th. Signups will be open until 31st of May 11.59pm Eastern Time.

If you are interested in joining, reply to this post with the following:
- What league you would like to join
- Your average rate of lucidity
- Your best guess as to your availability during the competition, on a scale of 1-5 (1 - incredibly busy, 5 - completely free)

The rates listed by the leagues are suggestions, but if you're feeling bold, feel free to try a higher league.

Please don't join unless you are reasonably certain you can contribute for the entire 2 weeks.

TIP: Pick up the flow even before the comp begins! Some people begin having more lucids as they get familiarized with lucid dreaming beforehand.

I’m switching to using natural WBTBs instead of using alarms, so things might start off slow for me. Though there’s 9 days till then, so maybe I’ll warm up in time?

I'll give this one a go, I've been working on recall again. Availability about 3.5 - 4, I'll try to update and DJ every day.

Back to beginner for me, no lucids in months , I've been focusing on other waking activities. Generally with increased intent I start getting lucids within about 2 weeks so I'll start immediately!

Very seldom have lucids nowadays -- I would like to say that I have 1/week when I'm warmed up, but that's just not true

- 0. I had my first intentional lucid dream a few days ago, but since then I've barely been able to sleep or remember a full dream
- I don't understand how these numbers work. I will be returning from a trip on 1 June so might be a bit held up then but otherwise will be able to log in daily as usual.

Back to beginner for me too, I think But the semester has ended and lucidity seems to be picking up a little, so we'll see.

I’m getting back on the road after long dry spell! No idea if I got lucid this year.

3 - I might be gone for a couple of days every now and then, will try to keep DJ updated

Beginner leauge, i did not get any lucids because i stopped cause of school, 4.5 almost always available
i am new to this, so sorry if i do something stupid

-I expect about 2-4 lucids per week, although I may have more than that if I get motivated
