I would like to try growing some African Dream root. However, it takes 2 years for the root to mature. That's a long time. I've read somewhere that the leaves when chewed has the same effect. Can anyone confirm that? That would be very useful, cause I wouldn't have to kill the plant, or wait 2 years.

The reason I want to grow Silene Capensis is because I'm curious about the white dreams.
