      Do the leaves of Silene Capensis work? (African Dream Root)

      New member here.
      I would like to try growing some African Dream root. However, it takes 2 years for the root to mature. That's a long time. I've read somewhere that the leaves when chewed has the same effect. Can anyone confirm that? That would be very useful, cause I wouldn't have to kill the plant, or wait 2 years.

      The reason I want to grow Silene Capensis is because I'm curious about the white dreams.

      Well, the name translates to "white paths" or "white ways". And it has been reported that some of the dreams have a very white tone to them, as in literally, white sky, white ground, white whatever.

      Anyone tried growing it? Do the leaves work?

      I am pretty sure that you must use the roots. Can you link the site that said you can chew the leaves?
