Ice Cream as a lucid aid?

      Hey guys!

I'm curious if anyone knows anything about using ice cream as a lucid aid. I did this without even trying last night, which is why I want to learn more about it and see if it has any possibilities.

The first thing I noticed about my post-ice cream dreams was that they were very, very clear. It was like watching an HD TV for the first time, only in my head.

The second thing was that ice cream managed to find its way into the dream as an object. Before I obtained lucidity, I found myself going into an ice cream parlor and eating some, which was where I first began to have suspicions that I was in a dream.

Yes, I've only done this once and have no real proof that the ice cream had anything to do with either of these things, but it would seem pretty coincidental for all that to happen on the night I decide to have ice cream (I don't have it very often).

EDIT: I almost forgot to mention...I put chocolate syrup on the ice cream...maybe that had something to do with it?)

Quite briljant. I can imagine the cold keeping you more wakefull and alert. Also the cold ice in your stomach would have lowered your bloodpressure.

+ it's a milk-product. And milk has also been known to aid lucidity.

Awesome! I honestly had no clue...but I figured it must be something like that.

Oh darn, now I have to suffer through eating ice cream in order to go lucid!

I would give it a second look, but from what i know about Icecream it dosen't sound too likely but who knows.

I'm thinking its probably just coincidence. Maybe you ingested a real lucid aid before hand like apple juice but chose to focus on ice cream.
