I take my Vitamin B6 at dinner time. I don't know what the best time to take it is, but it seems to give me very vivid dreams. |

I got a bottle of B6 (100mg) but, after some searching on DV and online, I'm not sure what I do. Do I take one on going to bed, one daily, or one at WBTB, or what? |

I'm no expert on the subject of supplements. But from what I gather about B6, is that when you take it, you should also eat something like turkey, beef, milk, cheese, or eggs. These foods have tryptophan. This will mix with the B6 causing the vivid dreams. Also B6 is supposed to work by suppressing REM sleep. So, for this reason, it would probably be better to take it before going to sleep. |

I used to take it right before going to sleep (or no more than one hour before) and it did give me really vivid dreams. |

Killing threads since 2002
I took one for the first time last night. I took one at 8.30pm, went to bed about 10 and had an LD (estimate) around midnight. Was one of my best lucids yet. Will experiment with different times. Found it very difficult to sleep though. |

What was the dosage? Oops. Just re-read the first post. 100mgs. |

Took 100mgs of B6 at 6.30pm by 10.30pm feeling "edgy and jittery" then took another 100mgs at 11pm....Could not sleep got up, back to bed around 3am still a sleepless and dreamless feeling night. Awake early. It was like a massive expresso overdose! |
