If you intend on WILDing I wouldn't advise taking melatonin. I would sleep for about 4 hours and wake up....either I'd have crap fragmented fuzzy dreams, or nothing at all. This was based on taking it during a WBTB. Everything else on the list seems good. |

I suggest Vitamin B6 be your main product to look for. Everyone's reaction to lucid aids are different but I've heard lots of positive feedback about B6 and it's worked good for me. =] |

I've been using the melatonin for three days now and it has actually greatly increased not only my dream recall, but has also made the dreams very clear and vivid. |

Melatonin is great for "setting" the body's natural rhythm. If you can't force yourself to wake up at a certain time for a WBTB without an alarm clock, take melatonin for a few days while having the alarm set at your chosen time and the body will eventually set itself to wake up at that time. |

I have heard vitamin B-12 is supposed to be great for vivid dreams. I've never tried big doses of it since I have just recently gotten interested in this stuff. My interest stems from a couple of recent experiences I've had. One was with olive leaf tea and the other with a good dose of cinnamon (1/2 teaspoon). This makes me wonder if the compounds found in powerful antioxidants may play a role in dreams. |

I just had another quick thought. There is something called GABA (Gamma-aminobutyric Acid) that might effect dreams for some or most people. There is also an amino acid called theanine that your body uses to create it's own GABA which might work even better. Both of those should be available at your health food store. |
