      cold/heat

If I make my bedroom really cold or really hot, will it help with lding?
I hated going to weddings. All the grandmas would poke me saying. "You're next".
They stopped that when I started doing it to them at funerals

      ATC: "N123YZ, say altitude."
      N123YZ: "ALTITUDE!"
      ATC: "N123YZ, say airspeed."
      N123YZ: "AIRSPEED!"
      ATC: "N123YZ, say cancel IFR."
N123YZ: "Eight thousand feet, one hundred fifty knots indicated."

One man's crash is another man's carefully planned landing maneuver.

Its a possibility but I think it would just make you hot and unable to sleep..

I don't see how it would help you recognize you're dreaming unless somehow you trained your mind to associate a temperature with being asleep. (A challenging task!)

BTW, If I get really warm at night, I tend to have nightmares.

I have a hard time WILDing if I'm cold (especially if my feet are cold).

In my experience Cold tends to raise consciousness and makes one more aware and awake whereas heat/warmth seems to lower consciousness and makes one more drowsy and sleepy.

However in summertime, with a warm bedroom, I seem to have infinitely more vivid and memorable dreams than in winter or autumn.

I have a hard time falling asleep when it's hot, but I sleep deeper so I get a REM rebound.

You should have whatever temperature is most comfortable for you, so you will be in a deeper sleep = more stable dreams and more stable lucids if you obtain them.
