      Aids...? Aides

      So, has anyone ever noticed the fact that this forum should really be called lucid aides? that is, unless we're talking about people who have AIDS while knowing they have AIDS, I suppose. O.o

      I know I'm a newbie, and so I feel bad for correcting you, but I do believe Aide refers to a person who does aiding, or assists in some way, whereas aid refers to any item or object that aids, or assists. It's probably related to who does the doing.

      EDIT:Lol, Lucid AIDS, didn't see that one.

      Correct.. plus our "Aids" is not all in capital letters while AIDS should always be in all capitals as its letters each stand for their own word (Acquired immune deficiency syndrome).
