      galantamine + melatonin = bad

      "Melatonin, in particular
has been shown to interfere with nicotinic receptor firing [3] and the associated release of
dopamine and glutamate. Since melatonin synthesis is often near peak values during the
time when galantamine is consumed for lucid dreaming purposes, a direct competition
can occur between galantamine induced nicotinic stimulation and melatonin induced
nicotinic inhibition. This can interfere with galantamine’s effectiveness."

I have noticed melatonin is in some of the dream pills. By this it should not be at all.

      Very interesting reading here:

From what I've read in Thomas Yuschak's book and studies Melatonin is only really helpful to dreaming in two ways. It can either help you sleep better by suppressing REM for the beginning stages of your night's sleep, or if using other insomnia causing supplement combinations during WBTB, can be used in small doses to help you fall back asleep.

So, if taken at night before initially going to sleep, it will reduce REM and give you more deep sleep... then as it wears off hours later you will get REM rebound and more vivid dreams.

I think melatonin is probably in some of the dream pills because taking those supplements can make it hard to fall back asleep... do the pills just have a small dose?

Does anyone know of any substances which inhibit the brain's production of melatonin? I read from Yuschak that at the time we take the Galantamine, the brain is already producing melatonin, reducing the Galantamine's effectiveness.
In dreams of unspeakable joy—of restored friendships; of revived embraces; of love which said it had never died; of faces that had vanished long ago, yet said with smiling lips that they knew nothing of the grave; of pardons implored, and granted with such bursting floods of love, that I was almost glad I had sinned—thus I passed through this wondrous twilight. —George MacDonald

Yuschak says that you could use melatonin or anyother REM supressing substanced before you go to sleep. wake up 5 hours later and the take some galantamien+choline. At that point the melatonin should wear off and you'll have REM rebound+galantamine+choline=crazy LD's

I also use Melatonin with Galantamine + Choline combo because otherwise it would be next to impossible to fall back asleep. Can anyone suggest other supplements to help with falling asleep?
