I use the "Hearos" brand, which you can find on the site below if you do a little digging. I've never had any problems with them. |

Are you dreaming?
Are they made out of anything in particular that makes them different from the rest? |

I personally use a pair of Mack's silicone earplugs. They do an excellent job sealing off the ears, and they're quite comfortable due to the moldability and the fact that they don't go deep into the ears, but they don't last long. I'm at the end of the life of my current ones, as they're about a month old and even soap and water can't get all the grime out. However, it was only about $3.50 for 2 pairs, so the price isn't that bad. |

Citizen, I highly recommend "Joe's Earplugs" ( http://www.joesearplugs.com ). They're cheap but more than that they're COMFORTABLE and they work. |

I don't think the type really matters all that much. Most will do the job. None will seal out noise completely, but most that are available in drugstores or most stores will do a pretty good job of blocking out alot of diturbing noise. |
