Unhappy Help taking any sort of lucid aid again (mind thinks it's bad)

Okay, well a few months ago I took about 200mg of B6 and 4mg of melatonin...

That night I woke up to my alarm with a sore stomach, got up, ate an apple and went back to bed to WILD. I successfully WILDed for my first time, but was woken up after about 5min into the dream because I felt sick. Anyhoo, I got up and was sick and continued to be sick for about a 15 hour period with a fever and headache.

Turns out I had unrelated food poisoning. Quite badly.

The problem is now my mind seems to have connected tablets with being sick, and every time I think of taking one I feel physically ill.

Any ideas on how I can overcome this because the B6 and melatonin really helped my recall and my ability to wild.

      Thanks

Do you actually follow through and get sick when you try to take a tablet, though, or have you not tried yet? Do you pop anything that doesn't make you sick still, like a morning multivitamin?

You could try taking a pill (or even a placebo) while doing something pleasurable, like eating delicious cake or playing a video game. I don't know if the subconscious sickness would stop you there, but seems like enough brute force tactics of associating taking a pill with a reward ought to pavlovianly rewire you eventually.

Thanks, yeah no I haven't actually followed through with it... but I'll give it a try tonight. Just the thought makes me nautious. But I will try it while eating some dark chocolate I'll report back tomorrow.

That sounds like a good idea. I bet it will go away in time. Are you off of apples too?

No oddly enough But I won't eat them at night...

By the way, I had a tablet last night (not a melatonin or B6 one, just a multi vitamin) and had chocolate after and I felt a little queasy for a bit. But it seemed to work! So tonight I'll try taking a little B6
