You could try smoking Marijana, given that you are okay with that, some 5 hours before bedtime and then take 5-HTP 1 hour or so before bedtime: Both cause REM-surpression and eventually an REM-rebound. It needs experimentation so I'm going to get some 5-HTP supplements next time I'm going to buy Marijuana again, but not for some time since I am currently enjoying my Marijuana induced REM-rebound.
I read recently that tryptophan has recently been found to exist in unusually large amounts in cheek peas.
I guess this is why I am addicted to humus ( a dish made of cheek peas ). After I eat it I really feel relaxed and high, more than after eating any other food.
