Salvia is a very strong Psychedelic plant. IT seems however that on some people it will have a profound effect while on others it has no effect at all (Like myself). It is legal in America, and in pretty much every other country to the best of my knowledge, and it's easily obtained. It is nontoxic and nonharmfull, yet it can give profound hallucinogenic, spiritual experiences that, for some, may be too intense for comfort.

I must say: Salvia, Mushrooms, DMT...etc all deliver a strong Psychedelic trance in which you are ALOT more open to pick up on Auto-suggestion: you're much more suggestable. However the Psychedelic experience is pretty intense and mental and therefor it is not for everyone: Some people will not like the effects at all and become terribly anxious. I've had a bad trip my first time doing mushrooms and that was pretty terrifying. I have continued to explore them nevertheless and have since only had wonderfull experiences with them. A female friend of mine who has tried it twice thought it was just too intense for her to enjoy so she never did it again.

All I can say is: If your Mind is open to the aid of Herbs and plants to become more open to autosuggestion, then Marijuana would be a better choice. The effects are mildly Psychedelic and mostly physically and mentally calming. The effect of Cannabis is rarely experienced as overly intense, known to be the most managable of mindstate altering herbs, while it can bring you in a very calm and quite significant state of trance.

However unless you're allready experienced with Psychedelic experiences I strongly suggest you don't try Salvia for this purpose: It has often been rated as the most powerefull psychedelic. I believe DMT and Salvia are on 1st and 2d place of Psychedelics if you were to measure their experience's intensity. I believe most people have experienced Salvia to be much more intense than LSD, allthough the effects are very different and much shorter lived. A couple of minutes I believe?
