Hi there =) So I must admit that I am not only new to this forum, but also to Lucid dreaming, and so I'm not entirely sure if you have talked about this in-depth before? I found a couple of threads but most seemed to gloss past it? Anyway, I basically wanted to extow? the virtues of this e-book, I know alot of you guys were rather unsure about it, but I got to say, I was amazed I have previously tried (for over a year) to achieve a lucid dream, using many methods and techniques, some from here, many more from other sources, rangind from the dream journal, to subliminal messaging, even hypnosis... but maybe I have a hard head, or just didnt give it enough practise, but I couldnt do it! not one lucid in a year! -(I know that many people spend a few years trying to achieve such a thing, but I am rather impatiant ). Well, as a last resort I bought this ebook last month, and so far I have had 4 fully lucid dreams, which honestly amazed me! and they're begining to come more easily too all this from just a couple of little pills! So, if you guys/girls do know about this, howcome you dont use it? or atleast recomend it to newbies? or do you just not know about it? Anyway, hope I haven't repeated a previouse thread Bye! Leon.

I just wanted to let you guys know (especially the newbies) that there is a way to have a lucid dream when you want one, rather than spending years of dream logs, and memory techniques etc, don't get me wrong, I'm sure they work, but hell, if you can just swallow a tablet and garantee that you'll be lucid, then why not!? The link is http://www.advancedld.com/page/page/3838413.htm I really was suspicious before I tried it, but it actually works (yay&#33 His e-book basically recomends two basic components, and then you can build upon them to increase the number of lucid dreams etc within one night, and other effetcs. If you don't want to belive me, then fine, but like I said, it works, and is so so much easier for newbies! -(though you can't just jump in and have multipul lucid dreams in one night you do have to work you way up to this - I'm not there yet).

I think it works because you believe it works. It's logical that it's easier to recall dreams etc, and the motivation is good to increase the chance of the placebo effect taking place. They say you need to use the pills along with WBTB. However, when you use WBTB, you already have a significant chance of getting a lucid dream.

Dude, you don't understand, Before this I was completely UNABLE to have a lucid dream, and I dont do any of your dream journals, or reality checks, just take a pill and dream... Look, I just wanted to let the newbies (Like me) know that there is an easier way which has a pretty much garanteed success. Oh well, your loss lol.

Well, it's good that it works for you. I was just trying to make sense out of this. I don't know everything (I don't even know a little out of all information out there (and I'm not talking about (lucid) dreaming)). There's not a fully working lucid dream pill either. This pill just temporary enhances things in your body that have to do with dreaming. Thus, granting you more vivid dreams and better recall. I think because you've got to do WBTB with this pill, that the lucid part actually comes from WBTB and the placebo part of the pill. This doesn't mean that it doesn't work, because it clearly works for you. For others it may work as well. And no, it's not really my loss. I already have at least one lucid dream a week, and I'm improving on that. Besides, that doesn't cost my any money for any pills. Anyway, have fun with your lucid dreams. It's a fun thing to do, isn't it?

Despite the denial, this STILL reads like a scam advertisement. Albeit, a (perhaps deliberately to evade suspicion?) badly-spelt one. Not the website or the products/books it advertises, because such half-assed informercial-esque sites and products are a dime a dozen, particularly when LDing is concerned. Rather, just hese posts, what you've said, and cheesy enthusiasm and vacant vague affirmations of the product's worth.

Guys, give the guy a break. If he were deliberately advertising I doubt he would have spent the time to post a follow-up. Anyway, here is what I have to say, adapted from my post in a similar thread: Modern science knows very little about the physiological aspects of lucid dreaming, and there has been no scientific research into chemicals that induce lucid dreams. Furthermore, all legitimate drugs list their active ingredients, which I bet the pill in question fails to do. Therefore, I must conclude that the pill in question is either a placebo as Dice suggested (which very likely would let you have several LDs because it gives you expectation coupled with WBTB) or an arbitrary drug that doesn't list its active ingredients (which would be highly illegal and dangerous). If the pill's company does provide a list of active ingredients, research the drug on Google, and you'll find that it doesn't do what it purports to do. If you can afford to spend money on probable scams you might wish to invest in the NovaDreamer, which is scientifically proven to help with LDs.

Hi there... not sure if anyone is still reading this as I did post it along time ago... -Sorry I haven't replied, I kinda lost interest after all the slating I got from imram -(sorry dude, just a little dig @ u! :-D). Well I am not an advertiser, and yes my spelling isn't very good... sorry, but I have found that the pills work wounders, and have recently been trying traditional methods & other supplements (such as Vitimin B6 &/or Melatonin) and have had some limited success... but still found that Thomas Yuschak's combo's to be the best, for even if you don't have an LD you have an extreemly vivid & entertaining dream =P I should say that the book has more in it that just a simple take this and this etc he has lots of combos to produce multipul Ld's & lots of other stuff -(ok if I were an advert person surely I'd be giving u all the speil? =D) Anyway I think he would be angry if I told you one of the combinations, and also he's a realy nice guy as if you have any problems he will email you back :-) But hope I have disprooved the placebo effect (really though Calea would work...) Well you can read the first 13 pages of the book on the site where they sell it: http://www.lulu.com/content/574307 I don't think the book is a scam but anyway I'm still a lucid dream newbe, and I would rather try the normal mental techniques such as DILD, WILD etc. before I'll try something like that, but I think it's great that research into this area is being made. Anyway Leon_P please keep us updated as to your experiences with this. Three major issues come to mind: 1) Are the effects sustainable over long period of time, or do you become habituated to them, and they wear off after a while? And if they do wear off, can you keep the effects by replacing supplements, or by taking breaks from them? 2) Do you feel any side-effects over a long period of time of using this? 3) And this is an important one I think: Can these supplements increase your natural ability to lucid dream. I mean if you stop taking them, or reduce the dosage, can you continue to get LDs? I believe there is at least a chance that the answer will be yes, because it's possible that once you experience enough lucid dreams, then your mind will become used to having them, and it may become a natural ability.

Hi there :-) Ok, in answer to your questions, but please note that I am no scientist: -yes the effects are sustainable after a long period of time however you will become imune to the main supplement... however there is another you can use (if you wish to have frequent lucid dreams within a week without the imunity0 that will counter act the imunity to the drug... Although you do become imune to the main druf (if you use for 3 days+) your body will quickly return to normal after just 5 days, and then you loose the "imunity" and can start again.. There are two side effects to the main drug... I noticed that my memory was dramatically improoved (I normally have significant memory problems! :-s) and I found this at any dosage and it will tend to last about 2 days... The second side effect is ONLY if you take at 4 times Thomas Yuschak's recomended dossage -(yes I know thought I was being clever&#33 And well you will have tremendously bad Diareah... lol seriously bad! But it doesn't last more than a day... :-s Lastly I actually found it easier to practise with traditional methods AFTER stopping the supplements... and was finding that I acheived more LD's than before, but this could be down to experience... I would like to say that I have tried oh so many products, methods & chemicals, and have found this to be the most succesfull for me, but best of all I find that when I have a LD through other methods, its never quiet as vivid or "fun" as through the suplements & also I tend to forget that I'm in an LD, where as I don't with the suplements... Opps... sorry for the essay! :-D Oh, and to answer your previouse question there are 2 main pills, but then you can add more for different experiances & for the anti-imunity thing I was talking about... But I have only used one aditional supplement, which was really cool because it makes the dream so much more vivid & you get awsome music playing! wierd but true... Leon. P.S. the good stuff in his book is towards the end (of course! :-)).

I dont like this idea. Popping pills, ESPECIALLY combinations of pills is a HORRIBLE idea if you are a newbie. Lucid dreaming should be learned naturally. And save the pills for advanced, DEDICATED lucid dreamers. Once you get into lucid dreaming can achieve lucidity naturally then you may start to experiment with pills. This makes sure you dont get dependent on pills to induce lucidity. Maybe the very first time it may be ok to use pills to induce lucidity. But how can you be sure that you will get lucid the first time you pop a combination of pills?

Hi Ev; I understand your concern... and in many cases you are quiet right; you do eventually come to rely on (in this case) the pills... However its more a case of, the supplements being a better alternative (in my opinion) to the less succesfull traditional methods... I'm not saying that everyone on here must go and use this alternative method... I do think though that it would be a good idea to recomend this to newbies who struggle otherwise (such as I did). I do not consider the pills to be any more of a sin than say the nova dreamer or calea for inducing dreams... for it does not exactly throw you into a LD, it just helps you to cross the barier & still remember, (the barier you always cross when you drift off to sleep, but useually forget). Oh and I should probably say that the pills are normal over the counter stuff that alot of people take... its just meerly the combination that could allow the majority of people to enjoy LD's and all the benefits without all of the training... But I do understand your sceptisism.

Particularly because the over the counter medications seem innocuous. That means people may be taking more of them and for longer periods of time than any illegal substance. 2) Even if it is possible to have a lucid dream from a combination of pills, this makes people not practice the traditional techniques/excersises. And when the pill will fail the people would be left with no knowledge of how to achieve LDs naturally, they would have nothing to fall back to... This will mean people will either quit or seek a "stronger" pill... I must say pills may be beneficial in inducing LDs. My first spark of lucidity was produced by a mix of many chemicals. It worked the first time. But it didnt work the second time and gave me a horrible 4-5hr a night insomnia that lasted for who knows how long.

I do stress that the drugs used (I'm tired of writing supplements all the time) are not dangerous mixed or not... the lethal limit is extreemly high (don't quote me but I beleive it was around 1000mg) and mixing the two or more drugs is no more dangerouse than mixing sugar with your coffee! I did find that after using the drugs it was possible for me to achieve LD's through traditional methods where as before It had been virtually impossible -(for me&#33 However I do generally prefer using the pills which I again must stress do not fail me & therefore need stronger doses! it just makes my LD's easier longer & more entertaining... I am not a master of LD... but I consider normal methods to be like doing mental arythmatic, and the supplements like using a calculator... For the experianced LD you can achive the same results through the "mental arythmatic" and just as easily, but for the less proficiant the calculator is alot lot easier & more fun! :-D I really do think that this method would allow newbies who struggle with older methods & the general public infact to have consitant fun LD's -Would be very cool if everyone could LD and not have to spend potentially years learning it[/b] ? Sure, but why stop at mental arithmetic or even the calculator ? Why dont we step it up to a computer? I've heard first hand that taking 1/4th of an extasy pill will give you most crazy lucid dreams ever... Oh wait, why dont we step it up a little bit more? XTC + 5HTP + Ginko + DMAE + vitamins + whatever else... Maybe this will give you multiple LDs each night! Without a strong background and knowledge about lucid dreaming this will turn into another way for kids to trip their socks off... See what I mean by a stronger pill? Now think of the bad publicity this may give to lucid dreaming considering some parents are concerned that thier childern take vitamin B6 for dreaming...

Dude, I think your getting a bit carried away! A few people on here have already experimented with B6 Melatonin & calea, yet you meerly consider this experimenting? These drugs are used every day by people, they are not dangerous, and when Thomas talks of combo's he meerly means that by adding another (some are not even pills&#33 it will change the Lucid dream in a new and interesting way (such as the music) or another would promote a second trigger... The drugs meerly induce a Lucid dream! just like Calea but far more effective. Yes you will always get freaks who will take everything under the sun to achive an LD, but lets be honest; most people would follow the instructions & quantities that Thomas Yuschak puts forward...

I'm locking this thread until further notice. This locking isn't about supplements. Amoung other things, I use B6, B12, and Calea moderately. But this thread STINKS of advertising. I'm sorry, Leon_P, I don't know what your agenda is and perhaps it's totally innocent, but I think I'm understandably skeptical given this is the only thread you've posted in on the forums, etc, etc. Please feel completely free, Leon_P or anyone else, to PM me if you have any objections and queries and I'd be pleased to hear you out, however.
