I read the word herb and so this Topic got my attention
Well anywayz. Drugs is a wide class. Coffee(Cafeïne) is Drugs, The Sigarettes you smoke(Nicotine) are Drugs, The medication your doctor prescribes you; Drugs , Marijuana is Drugs and Heroin is Drugs.
Now you may see that it is difficult to put a good/bad moral stamp on the general term ''Drugs'', but I DO consider Calea Zacatechichi and such dreamherbs as drugs too. Subtle psychoactive drugs, but defenitely drugs. It's just a word with alot of negativity attatched to it. I must say I do some drugs, mainly Psychedelic Ecodrugs; Like Mushrooms, Mescalin Cactus, Salvia & Marijuana, while on the other hand I stay away from more Toxic/Addictive drugs like Cocaine, Heroin, Alcohol and the Like. There is a clear difference to be made.
But these DreamHerbs are in my opinion just as well drugs. A good, nonharmfull, subtile drugs, which's effects are profound when asleep and dreaming only.
I tried Calea too (10X extract) but it didn't seem to make a difference at all for my nights of dreaming. Bummer indeed.
But a little over a month ago I ordered this other Dream Enhancing herb: African Dream Root, A.K.A. Silene Capensis. I didn't know what expecct after having tried and seen Calea fail.
To my surprise I have had one full week worth of remarkably vivid, sensemaking, Clear, bright and well remembered dreams from only mixing half a Teaspoon of Powdered DreamRoot to my Cup of tea. In fact I must admit even that I haven't had such Intense and Wonderfull dreams since my Childhood. On the 6th night after the Cup of DreamRoot Tea I had a Lucid Dream. The effects of this herb seem to take about 3 to 4 days to reach full effect and then leave you with about the rest of the week's dreams to be pretty emotionally intense, Visually detailed, symbolical, logical and storyline-ish/narrative.
You're supposed to Drink this Tea early in the morning when your stomach is empty. Afterwards you can eat if you're hungry.
So if you, like me, were disappointed in Calea Zacatechichi, but still interrested in a DreamEnhancing herbs: I would like to Recommend you to try Silene Capensis; African DreamRoot, as it worked miracles for my Dreams and their Clarity.
