I was just reading something about b6 trying to find some foods to add into my diet that might contain high levels of it when I noticed that someone had said nuts and seeds were a good source of B6. I looked it up on the planters website (which is very informative) and discovered that sunflower seeds are the BEST nut to eat if you're looking get a bit more b6 and zinc. What makes me giggle a little is that the whole time I was looking up info on b6 I was already eating sunflower seeds. I eat them all day when I'm on my computer. Funny. . .
I couldn't find somewhere that said exactly how much b6 and zinc you can get out of sunflower seeds but the planters website said that 1 oz of shelled sunflower seeds contains 170 calories, and 10% of your daily b6 and zinc needs. While that's not nearly as much as those energy drinks I've seen people talking about on here, I thought I would share my new found information.
Happy Munching.
