Hey Everyone,
I have been on antibiotics* for a while now and was wondering if anyone knew:
Could this have any effect on Lucid dreaming?
I have had many more LD's than my sister and friend, in fact they have had none in the time I have had 8. Also some people said that having 8 LD's in your first month is quite a bit.
If you are on antibiotics of any kind please post if you think they have affected your dreaming.
*I am taking a mix of Sulfamethoxazole and Trimethoprim (800 mg/160 mg)

I can't see how antibiotics would have any effect on lucid dreaming. Analgesics (pain relievers) and antihistamines, yes, they may contribute to alterations in dreaming due to their effects on your nervous system. But I can't think of any way antibiotics could have an effect.
I just finished a 2 week course of cephalexin for my wrist wound and I didn't experience any difference in my LDing.

I'm also on antibiotics right now. And havn't had any lucid dreams...not that I would have normally..but the drugs havn't made any big differences with either dream recal or lding...at least for me.

Yeah, Burns, I don't know of a way either.
Then again, I don't know if there are any effect it can have.
Hmm...
Maybe the drugs have no effect because, ~~\o/~~~~~/\~~~~shark!, is on antibiotics too but no LD's.
It must just be that my sister and friend (and others) are just having a hard time getting started.
I was just wondering
:whyme:
Thanks for input

I'm on antibiotics, too, since yesterday. I had 38.8 degrees when I went to bed so it was hard enough to fall asleep, but...
I don't know if there's any connection, but my dream-recall seems to be increased a tiny bit. Today I'm feeling a bit better, I'll post again tomorrow, let's see if there are any changes. :)

I'll be looking foward to it :bigteeth:
