I would take B6 in a dose it comes in. No more than 100mgs. Never tried Melatonin, but read that 0.3 mg is enough as a asleep aid. |

I have never had any luck with any dose of melatonin. It does not help me fall asleep, become lucid, help remember dreams, or increase vividness. |

If I take more than that, it gives me a bit of a "hangover" effect the next day--I feel groggy, have kind of bad mood, and am otherwise mentally dull. Too much melatonin can cause both that and can even make it more difficult to go to sleep. This is why I keep the dose between 1mg-3mg, along with the fact that it is, as I have found, what works best for me. |
