It depends on your diet. If you aren't getting a well-balanced diet (especially in terms of vegetables and fruits) the odds are a multivitamin will help you in a number of ways. A number of supplements that are suggested, like Choline, can be a bit more specific at targeting mental faculties.
I am not sure if you only joined DV in July or if that is when you started to try LDing, but I suspect that you are just early on in the learning curve. There have been a few weeks where I wondered what was 'preventing the lucidity from kicking in', then I had a couple of lucid dreams shortly thereafter and realized I was progressing (just not in a perfect linear fashion). Your dream recall is strong. Keep excited, do your RC's, and practice a technique that works for you. If you've had 6 LDs over the past two months, you are headed in the right direction.
