      Ischronic tones

Last night I spent my time attempting to use a thirty minute isochronic tone to attain lucidity. The first round of tones was right as I went to bed, with no sleep before-hand. I experienced some interesting hynagogic imagery and sounds, but alas, no lucidity. I fell asleep after a long while. I woke up several hours later and recalled two dreams.

After waking up, I attempted to turn on the tones again and perform a WBTB WILD. I turned the tones on, after being up a mere five minutes, and laid down to wait. I literally spent all my time laying there, telling myself that I would soon be dreaming, but after the tone ended, I was still stranded awake.

However, when I think back to how I felt at that stage, it feels almost dream-like. Can anybody relate to this? I feel as if I had transitioned into a dream, but that the dream was of me laying there wondering! Perhaps I missed the "dive" into the dream.

personally i can't sleep with music on.
every time im going to ''shift'' into the dreamstate i automaticly get a sort of a shock that wakes me up, because i had my music on.
maybe you have the same problem, music can be everything ,buzzing, cars etc
the positive thing about having music on is that you don't sleep without getting this sort of a shock, but that depend on the volume of your music

and about your dream-like stage, i had that last night,
you are getting this just before you sleep but it ended for me because of an *** Moskito

So you do believe that I was rather close to becoming lucid? It was quite an interesting feeling, that's for sure. I could swear that I was awake at the time but when I look back it seems more and more dream-like.

it could be that you just went to sleep after that you awakend without knowing that you slept,
that causes someone to think that he was awake.
or you had an false awakening
