Have anybody ever tried an "interval alarm" for lucid dreaming?

I've heard, that you can use an alarm, that maybe rings every 10 minutes, when you are in rem. I think I'll try it in the weekend, but i want to know, if you have any good experiences with it... Good dreams

Im sure that would really mess up your sleeping pattern if you did something like that.

You mean like what this guy is talking about? I've tried it once or twice, but it didn't work for me. Not saying it doesn't work, but I didn't go about doing it the right way the few attempts I made.

Its supposed to wake you, maybe every 10 minutes so you can do a deild, and get back to the dream :p Im sure that would really mess up your sleeping pattern if you did something like that. Are you sure, I've heard that there are a very big chance for a lucid dream... You mean like what this guy is talking about? yeah excacly what I was talking about I think I'm gonna try the technique in the weekend, and I'll report back...

Yeah I tried that for a while and it worked pretty well. I used to set an hourly double beep on my phone throughout the day, then at night (from about 6:00AM) have it go off every half hour and every time it went off I would reality check (when it went off in the day not when I was asleep obviously). It wasn't enough to wake me up but on quite a few occasions I would be in a normal dream, hear the beep, reality check thinking I was awake and then realise I wasn't and become lucid. After a while though I pretty much stopped hearing the beeps in my sleep (I think because I got used to hearing it). Also I stopped doing it because I was getting lucid a lot of the time anyway and sometimes I would be in a really stable lucid, hear the beeps go off and think oh s**t don't wake up, then I would wake up and lose the dream. But it's worth doing for a while at least.

Glad to hear that it worket quite well Do you know the feeling at night, when you are about to sleep and you don't set an alarm for wbtb? because you are too lazy?
