Thread: 5-HTP - is it safe to take every night?

I just bought some 5-HTP (hydroxytriptophan), combined it with WBTB and had 2 DILDs this morning.

I was planning on using it together with Galantamind, but now I will hold of on that and use it by itself with WBTB. (I take it before bed, so it's effect is gone by morning for REM rebound.)

Does anybody takes 5-HTP every day? How safe is it to take it that often?

I haven't posted here in years, but I figured I'd reply to this.

I've started taking 5-HTP (50mg/day in the mornings) since it boosts my mood; I think it's safe to take every day as long as you don't go higher than 100mg/day or so. Personally with a 100 mg/day dose I was experiencing long periods of hot flush which was uncomfortable, so I dropped down to 50mg.

Thanks for your reply. Are you using it also for LDing? Have you noticed any change in dreams or lucids since you use it?
