TIL just how very painful blue balls are. But seriously, ouch, people weren't exaggerating that it feels like getting kicked in the balls. I tried to go through with it but I didnt think i would be able to fall asleep like that, and LD should be painless imo, next time I wont wait so long in between attempts i guess.

Never hurt for me. Maybe it's a bit uncomfortable, but not painful in the slightest.

seriously the most sexual active dream ive had because of this LOL, i mean, ive had them before but.. damn.. let me give you a quick run down.

I am going to break the unwritten rules of society and mention that, as a girl, this holds true as well.

Lolz this is such a weird thread xD I belive you guys but unfortunately this thing can't apply to me at all. xD Because I can't have such intence dirty feelings and all. I mean sure I could do it but when I stoped I'd be like "Eh...w/e" and just shrug it off. Because I'm more of a romantic and gentle person than a dirty one...(Go ahead and call me weird now -shot- XD) but I might try holding intence romantic feelings before sleep, maybe that could work too? Thoo I am not great at holding one feeling for a long time but I'll still give it a go.

I mean my motivation for lucid dreaming was/is so I could hold my lover's hand and feel our lips touch, but it never took over me in intence feelings...xD

But once randomly I did wake up during night, didn't open my eyes nor move, I just randomly thought dirty stuff and felt myself DEIDL and had a lucid dream, but my dream was mocking me. I couldn't really control myself in fully lucid way but I was aware I was dreaming and all and I wanted to summon my lover so much but the dream just found more and more ways to mock me. lol

Okay enough blabbering. You people go ahead and have your fun, I find it amuzing but I won't do it since I can't. XD

Wow, I reached orgasm last night and it was feeling GOOD. I even went on a random IRC and had a chat with a woman who thought I was insane (she always thinks I'm insane). I even drank 2 cups of apple juice just for the heck of it, and I kept rambling on to her while she started laughing until I felt sleepy.

No wonder I couldn't lucid dream despite practicing CrazyInsane's CANWILD method. I was probably so relaxed I lost consciousness despite hearing one of the alarms I set to let me know that I'm awake.

However, I did remember two dreams, but not a very long recall of them, but that's probably because I'm motivating myself to get towards augmenting my recall to the point where I can write a novel a day on my dreams haha. I'll try this again tomorrow night, I have a Biology Lab Practical Exam tomorrow, and that's something to fear...FEAR. I hope I get a lucid dream that will at least make happy since I have the Lab at 8AM.

You know this is actually quite clever. When I first read the first post I thought "oh here we go again, someone has stumbled upon MILD or something" but it's quite good.
Think about it for a moment. It's first off all keeping the mind clear and focused before bed. You then fall asleep with your mind completely focused on the one thing. Then you dream and when that certain topic pops up again in a dream, you spot it more easily, than say watching out for some dreamsign and it being mixed in with lot's of other stuff.

You actually WANT to find it in your dreams, not just looking out for it and hoping you spot it.

I'm going to join in, last time I fapped was Thursday night methinks, so I'm already 2 nights in. I will climb the mountain and nearly plant my flag just shy of the top, then come back down as fast as I can to sleep-basecamp.

I think I did try this before, like I didn't fap for 2 weeks. My dream recall and vividness... hm.. I wouldn't say it was incredible or extraordinary, but I would say it was certainly above average. I will report back once I have managed something worthwhile.

I wonder if there is actually a biological effect going on here, instead of just desire affecting the mind. Maybe some blood being directed to other places than the brain or the rhythmic motions work as a kind of meditation.

I was considering that too... It could be things like higher body temperature or blood flow causing the increased vividness. I think I'll try this, uh, technique for a few nights, and then try taking something like a cayenne pepper supplement to see if I get simillar results.

Also, would WBTB make this more effective?

Well it's all about getting the idea and feeling into you, then falling asleep, so the less time in between... getting the idea into your head, and sleep should be minimal, so a short WBTB or if you find you can fall asleep fast after a WBTB then go for it.

Interesting, im definitely going to try this tonight. Maybe have my first LD, we'll see. I will post my results tommorow!

As awkward as this technique is, I can confirm that it works. Tried it last night and I had some pretty vivid dreams, mostly sexual related too. So I'm thinking we should name this technique SILD? Sexually induced lucid dream?

Anyone know any scientific basis for why this happens by the way?

there is definitely some logic in there... I remember having really vivid sexual dreams around before puberty started for me and before i discovered masturbation.

Assuming you only found out about lucid dreaming and joined up in October, then don't feel bad that you have yet to have one. It usually takes between a few weeks to a few months to have one. For me personally it was 4 months, and for a few people it can be a few days.

Hold on... if everyone seems to have little to no recall after climax when in bed before sleep, and they tend to have sexual related dreams if they do not climax..

What we have to choose? quick everyone! we need to research, will morning or afternoon climax negativly effect dreams? I will volenteer to be a test subject as well.

Well I have been doing this method for the past three nights now I think, could be four, and there hasn't really been much change in my dream content. I did get 2 lucids on the 2nd night, yet this was probably down to me waking up and staying up for an hour, and then having a go at WILDing, which just so happened to be in REM for me.

I will give it one more shot tonight, but if nothing above average happens I am going to give in.
