I discovered by accident that when there is an external light entering at the edge of an ending dream there is a chance for the conscious mind to take over the dream and dream exactly what it wants. However I did not experience any form of lucidity. It only happened when the dream is ending prematurely by the external light and the dream still trailing enough for the conscious mind to continue the dream but the light has to be bright enough to cause the arousal of consciousness but not enough to blast the mind of of the dream completely. The light used had an on and off interval where the off time allowed the dream to continue with what the concious mind wants but because it was by accident the off interval was too short to continue so I fully woke up the next time the light came on. I have configured the light set up to occomodate this Trailing Edge effect....so far the problem faced is the unconscious resetting of the system by switch in hand much like the unconscious removal of the dream mask during sleep. I have installed an anti-resetting circuit to prevent resetting of the time delay after the set time has passed... |
