I've been doing lucid dreaming exercises for 6 weeks and have been taking piracetam for the past 4 weeks. No lucid dreams for that duration.
For the first 3 weeks of my piracetam trial, I took 800mg twice daily: one dose in the morning and one dose before bed. Then, for the last week, I switched my dosage pattern to one dose in the morning and another dose early in the afternoon. This new pattern seemed to produced more vivid dreams, but still no lucid dreams.
Then, two nights ago, I stopped taking the piracetam and had a lucid dream that night (my first LD in 2 years!), along with a very vivid non-lucid dream.
Anyone else experienced this? Is it possible that decreasing levels of piracetam in the body can result in increased dream vividness and likeliness of lucidity?
