so is there any real constant proof that vitamin b6, or whatever other combos of vitamins, makes dreams more vivid??? it seems to be a sugar pill situation to me. what does everyone think? |

i know i could search it and find people saying it worked but that's not solid proof. i'm talking about clinical trials in a sleep laboratory with ekg's of the brain during dreaming and what not. like proving it works as much as is possible. like i said a lot of people could be given a sugar pill and wake up and think "it totally worked!" and i'm sure a lot of these vitamins have that effect. we already have a lot of b6 and b12 in our foods and multivitamins anyway. why would taking an extra pill of it do anything? it seems that maybe if you live in a cave and eat only moss and spiders for a month so your vitamin levels are waaaaaaaay low then yes if you took a bunch of these vitamins your brain would respond drastically but for the average person i don't see it. not to mention i've tried a lot of them with zero results. |

Well I wasn't talking about anecdotal evidence, I could care less about that either. But if you did a search, you would find that there are scientific reasons and plenty of research into the vitamins and supplements which explain why they have a direct effect on dreaming. I can't point you to any specific research studies such as you are asking about, but I would think you could find something like that with a google search? That's how I find everything. |
