      In order for others to talk to you, you need to put yourself out there by talking to others. Strike up random conversations! Ask to add people on MSN or AIM, ask them how their day is going, what music they like. My contact info is in my profile for a reason. If anyone wants to add me on MSN or AIM or YIM, go for it.

      This thread, while a good start, does in part make you seem somewhat needy. Work on that some, maybe? Just learn to go with the flow, while still taking some initiative.

      IRC is always dead. The main reason we switched to it from Flashchat is because it runs better. So now everyone goes in and just idles all day because it runs so nicely that it's like you're not even in chat at all!
